Has anyone ever booked a 4 day Disney cruise followed bt a 3 day Disney cruise? We are going on the Disney Dream next May for 4 days and then I was going to book 3 nights at Disney world, but it looks like it 3 days at Disney that time of year will be really expensive and just going on another 3 day cruise will be much cheaper. I will have a 2 year old at the time and think the extra Disney cruise may be the way to go (less stressful than Disney may be with a little one). But does any one know what happens? Do I have to get off the ship and change rooms between cruises? That might be a real pain too. Any opinions?

You may not need to leave your cabins if both reservations are on the same categories. You may need to make a request with Disney though. Not sure if procedure has changed but you will have to get off the ship but you will be escorted back on by a Disney staff prior to other guests. You might want to get off anyway as there is really nothing going on during the embarkation as the staff will be cleaning/ getting ready for the next Cruise.

If you are during a B2B 3 and 4 days, why don't you just rebook for a 7 day? I guess that will be dependent on price and cancellation date, but it might be worth exploring.

I like the iteneriary on the 7 day and it makes alot more since, however my son has his heart set on going on the Dream and this is his Xmas/bday gift. I am not sure if it is worth it if a whole day is wasted on getting on and off the ship. Maybe a deal for Disney World will come available. I am just in shock that 3 days can cost as much as I have spent on a week at Disney. The cruise is just such a better price.

We booked a 4-night followed by a 3-night in summer 2008. Same cabin so we did not have to pack up or move. We THOUGHT it would feel like having a 7-night but it did not. We had no sea days (our 4-night was a double dip to CC) and our "port day" turned into just lounging at the pool all morning. Which was OK but nothing spectacular. That's probably what we would've done anyway if it was a sea day...but I guess we just felt the Wonder was so much more casual than the Magic or something. We didn't like the 3-night cruise much at all and now know not to book one of those (unless we run into a real deal like kids sail free or something which isn't likely to happen for a peak time). If we ever did another back-to-back I would 1st, want them to be longer and 2nd, want different itineraries like doing an Eastern / Western combo. I think the 3-night cruises are very overpriced. JMO.

Thanks for the information. I think I have now changed my mind and will stick to Disney cruise followed by Disney World. I will just have to be in the look out for any deals for that time frame. I have a year, surely something will come up. I wish my son wasn't so stuck on having to go on the new ship or the 7 day would be perfect!
