2 Credit Meals

At Signature restaurants, do you just need to let your server know that you want to use 2 credits?

No. You just need to let them know you're using credits. Each diner is automatically charged two credits.

Also depends on how you want to use those credits. It will be 2 credit per person who is on the dining plan, but you could choose to pay for one person's meal using the dining plan and pay for the other person's out of pocket.

So lets say it's a reservation for two people. You tell the server you're on the dining plan but only one person will be using the dining plan and the other will be paid of out of pocket. So instead of it being 4 TS credits, it would only be 2 TS credits. You will want to make sure the most expensive things go on the person who will be using credits.

which doesn't mean you have to eat that way, unless one person wants all the expensive stuff - filet, expensive dessert, specialty cocktail - while the other only wants a salad and a Coke.

You an order however you want, but if one person is using credits and the other isn't, then it is more cost effective to use the credits for the more expensive of the 2 meals - or the meal that better fits the plan.

Lots of times, two of us share one dessert.

Or like, at Cali Grill...ordering sushi as your DDP entrée isn't a great combination because of the way it is priced/counts on the DDP. I think - you only get to order one roll as your entrée. (about $20, instead a $40+ entrée) That's kind of like using an entrée credit to pay for an appetizer.

Usually if you want to use credits for one meal, and pay for the other, the servers will do their best to apply the credits to the more expensive meal.
