We have the deluxe plan for our upcoming trip. For the 2 credit restaurants such as California Grill, Yachtsman do you use 2 credits per PERSON (as it states in the official brochure) or 2 credtis per ENTREE. The reason I ask is my "disney adult" 11y/o DD who weighs all of 68# will probably just share with me. Thank goodness she has a refined palate and loves new foods. DH and DD13 are big eaters, but 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and 3 desserts should be more than sufficient for the 4 of us. I know we'll have to use credits for all of us at CRT. It really shouldn't matter because we probably won't use all our credits anyway, but I just hate to waste.:confused3

Unless they've changed it, you will be charged credits based on the amount of entrees you order. If you order 3 at a 2TS restaurant, you will be charged 6 credits, even if 4 people are eating. My DM and I have split meals at several of the 2 TS restaurants. It's not been a problem. I've also shared with DD9, also no problem. This allowed us to save up enough credits for another meal. This year DD will be 10 (on 9-19) and she'll be an adult. She's not a big eater so I'm sure we'll be sharing alot of meals between the 3 of us. 2 adult meals should be plenty, most of the time.

FYI, the first time we used the plan (Jan. 05) they based the credits on amount of beverages (non-alcoholic served). We found this out at Spoodles where my DM and I shared a meal. Since we ordered 2 beverages, they charged us for 2 meals. We had the manager adjust it for us-this was when the plan was brank spanking new. If you ever had a problem with your credits, the manager at the restaurant, or the concierge desk at your resort, can correct it for you.

You are fine to share with your daughter rather than her ordering her own meal. Anything you want to order specifically for her (drink, child's meal), you would just pay OOP and save the credits for your use.
