2 Castles, 2 Send out 2011 & Ring in 2012...12 Days of Christmas

Sunday's Trivia Question:
Which Mickey Mouse short featured the debut of Mickey's now-famous white gloves?

In the film The Opry House (1929), Mickey was given his white gloves which were a simple way of contrasting his naturally black hands against his black body.

My favorite dessert and the one that brings me the most comfort is Bread Pudding...my grandmother always made it for me and sadly none of my family care for it, so I don't make it. I can't wait to sample some at 1900 Park Fare and Ohana's...still trying how to arrange just 1 ADR for dessert at Raglan Road (because I hear theirs is the best)!

Did you know that Walt's Disney's favorite dessert was also bread pudding, along with lemon pie...so that is why there are so many variations of it at Disney World!

This weeks Disney To DO List:
1. Finish Wrapping (and hiding) the Advent Reveal Gifts
2. Make Menu & Grocery List for Thanksgiving (and movie nights) at the cabin
3. Make Mock Up of PTR thank you gift and find supplies for it
4. Finish Advent Gift Clues and Family Tasks, then print and make the scrolls

 on the weight loss! 7 pounds in 3 weeks is great! What are you doing? And if you say starvation... I'm going to :faint:

Actually it is 2 weeks...time does not fly when you are hungry! Actually a friend at school has been doing the Dukan diet and has had great success, so I am trying it. I guess paying for that photopass the other day has finally got my behind in gear! It has been pretty easy to follow, and having early success is really helping keep me focused. Now lets see if I can stay focused for the next 6 weeks and get those 20 pounds off!

What kind of animal was Friar Tuck originally set to be in 1973's 'Robin Hood' and what kind of animal did he actually become in the movie?

You are making me nuts with this... I can't find it... was it supposed to be a fox?

NO I am wrong up there a pig! gross though he's a religious symbol!

I love the luggage. What a good deal.

 for loosing weight. That is a lot for such a short period of time. I have wanted to lose before this trip...but sadly I gain a few pounds then take it off... I am still up above where I want to be...only a little, but still

I am with you on the bread pudding, btw. I love it...and yes, Ragland Road does have some awesome pudding. Ohana does too...but honestly the picture you posted looks the best to me. YUM!

I'm baaaaaaack.

Congrats on the weight loss! I've hit a plateau, I bounce up and down 2 pounds either way. I subscribe to weight watchers online, but keep forgetting to enter food on the tracker. I also tend to drink my calories, vanilla coke is my weakness! Yesterday I looked at my cans lined up on the counter, and I was up to 4! Bad me!! Need to drink water instead, I'd probably lose a few pounds just cutting out the soda.

Did you see the picture of the bread pudding I posted from the House of Blues?! Oh my!!! It was THE BEST banana bread pudding I have EVER tasted!! And it was huge, dh and I couldn't finish it even splitting it. They also had a killer crab and artichoke dip with chips. I can't wait to go back there!

Love the luggage and even better that is was a great deal!! I love awesome deals like that...haha

I am really showing my age with this one...I remember seeing the Love Bug! YIKES!!!! :scared1:

I love the luggage. What a good deal.

I should have bought two sets at that price! Darn it!

 for loosing weight. That is a lot for such a short period of time. I have wanted to lose before this trip...but sadly I gain a few pounds then take it off... I am still up above where I want to be...only a little, but still

I got on the scale this morning and I am up 2 pounds...what the heck?? :confused3 Way to really ruin the day! I have been playing with this same 10 pounds for a very long time...plus the other 30 that needs to come off after that!

I am with you on the bread pudding, btw. I love it...and yes, Ragland Road does have some awesome pudding. Ohana does too...but honestly the picture you posted looks the best to me. YUM!

Not sure where that bread pudding comes from...it just looked so yummy and made me sad thinking of my grandmother. Do you think it would be okay to make an ADR for an afternoon and sneak into Raglan Road for some?

I'm baaaaaaack.

I hear you...I love diet vanilla creme coke from sonic! But I can say I have had no sodas (or was we call everything in Texas...cokes) in 14 days!

Okay...way to make me hungry already with forbidden items! I can't wait to sneak over to your TR and see how the weekend went...take a sneak look at my Christmas present! :rotfl:

Love the luggage and even better that is was a great deal!! I love awesome deals like that...haha

San Francisco! Herbie is distinguished by red, white and blue racing stripes from front to back bumper, a racing-style number "53" on the front trunk lid, doors, and engine lid, and a yellow-on-black '63 California license plate that says, "OFP 857". One exception to this is his introduction in The Love Bug, where he initially appears as a nondescript white vehicle with a gray colored fabric sunroof (a.k.a. "ragtop"), the style of sunroof offered on VW Beetles made through 1963.Four theatrical sequels followed: Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Goes Bananas, and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Some parts of the racing sequences from The Love Bug were later reused for Herbie's dream sequence in Herbie Rides Again, responding to Grandma Steinmetz's telling Willoughby Whitfield that Herbie used to be a famous racecar.
A five-episode TV series, Herbie the Matchmaker, aired on CBS in the United States in the spring 1982. In 1997, there was a made-for-television sequel which included a Dean Jones cameo, tying it to the previous films. The latest entry Herbie: Fully Loaded, was released on June 22, 2005, by Walt Disney Pictures.

I am trying to catch up! And to tell you the truth I have never seen this movie! I need to tough they have the car at the hotel I think!

Adorable!!!

Yes I found it quite entertaining that he was an American in an English Movie!

As to all the Pizza Planet truck photos, I didn't expect points for those, but when someone posted a "huh" about that I had to show those cause I think that's a very neat fact about Pixar. There is also an "Easter egg" in all the films that forecasts the next movie!

I love HERBIE! The original herbie that is. My favorite is when he gives Herb the Irish Cream and he goes zonkers! Didn't even finish watching the remake with Lindsay.

And your little girl is precious! I miss mine being that little sometimes!
