2 BR Question

I am in the process of signing the paperwork for 160 points at AKL. I am still learning all there is to know about DVC. Most trips will be me and my husband with our two boys. We plan on usually getting a 1 bedroom. My question is if I wanted to book a 1 bedroom using my points would I be able to request the attached studio and book it for my mother and have her pay cash. If this is possible are there only certain placed that have 1 bedrooms with attached studios? Also any idea how much it would cost her? Thanks for all your help!

Nope. That won't work.
1 - Cash rooms and DVC rooms are separate inventory
2 - If you book a 1 bdrn and a studio, they cannot guarantee that the 2 rooms will be next to each other.

We have done this in the past with friends. Your best bet is to book a 2 bedroom (which is basically a 1 bdrm and a Studio with a connecting door) and either charge her the difference in points between the 1 and 2 bedroom at some agreed on rate, OR call CRO for the price of a studio in cash and have her pay you.
