Wondering what the options are and what requests to make on a 2 bedroom executive suite at the Dolphin.

I have been assigned rooms 9007-9009-9033, which the representative tells me is non smoking and the highest floor facing epcot, doesnt have a balcony but apparently a great view. Anyone know about this room??

Any other suggestions/experiences? Anyone ever have a 2 BR Executive Suite on Club Level or with a balcony??

Thanks!

You might want to ask dreamflight99 she has alot of experience in the dolphin's suites.

Yes, dreamflight gave me a few tips already - she surely is a wealth of knowledge on the Dolphin. Just wanting to see if anyone else has experience - thanks!

There are a few executive suites at the Dolphin with balconies but very few. Rarely do we hear about anyone actually getting one. We did stay in an executive suite on the 4th floor this past Jan. Even though it did not have a balcony it was gorgeous with spectacular windows. I think you will love being on the 9th floor in an executive suite. Have a great time!

The kitchette has a small sink and several cabinets and drawers. The mini-bar is also located in the kitchenette.

We love having that extra room as we always take snacks and breakast items.

Also, we were told there are NO executive suites with a balcony, but perhaps that person was mistaken.

We have stayed in an Executive Suite on our last 4 visits and have one booked for June.

For our famiy of four, the extra room to spread out is wonderful.

Enjoy!

No microwave... I was disappointed by this as well. I almost considered buying one of those $40 ones at Target just for the week!

How did you find out what rooms you were assigned already??? Do you leave soon???

I would love to know which rooms I've been assigned ahead of time...

The 2 bdrm suites are my favorite at the Dolphin...It is a huge amount of space...

I was working with a front office manager, who had made my reservation for me after we had some trouble with our rooms on a previous stay. But I believe they will assign rooms, especially suites, up to a few weeks before your stay. He didn't guarantee that he could keep it for me, but we did get the one I mentioned earlier in this thread, and it was spectacular. What a view and what a room! Only downsides: (1) Epcot view means long walk down the hallway and elevator line that doesn't take you directly to pool/Tubbis, and (2) Epcot view was only out of one of the bedrooms, and not the parlor.

Hi, I am just curious - how far in advance do you have to make your reservations to get an executive suite? Are there very many???

Is there a one bedroom?? How many people do they sleep?

Also - (Please excuse if rude) but can you give me a ball park figure on the price/night? I am just curious because we have a family of 5 and possibly my teen may want to bring a friend on our next visit - makes 6 - and we stayed in a one bdrm suite at the CR over Thanksgiving and the price was outrageous (over $1200/night) Is this suite comparable?

Are there any discounts or AP rates ever on Dolphin/or Swan suites???

Lots of ?? I know. Sorry. I just never even knew there were suites available at the SD.....

Thanks for any info!!

Can anyone give me some information on the 2 Bedroom suites?
What is the layout, are they dedicated 2 bedrooms, how many beds?
What is the rate, I have never seen them under their online reservations?
Do they offer government or other discounts on these suites?
Are the suites considered club level?
Do they have 2 bedroom suites at the Swan?
Is it hard to get a reservation for the suites?

Hope this is not too much.
But I really appreciate all the help.

Do they offer government or other discounts on these suites? I haven't had any discounts lately but Dreamflight99 has gotten them

Are the suites considered club level?I have never received Club level privilges when I got my Executive suites

Do they have 2 bedroom suites at the Swan? Yes, It is called a Grand Suite

Is it hard to get a reservation for the suites? I've never had a problem

Just a note, I use my starwood points exclusively for the one and 2 bdrm suites....it is a great perk.

Thought I'd share my knowledge of suite at the Swan. My family stayed in a 1BR Exec suite last summer. It was possible to add a second bedroom to this suite. In fact they said they would have opened up the second bedroom for us if it hadn't been occupied. Here's the run down...

BR #1 King Bed /Bathroom and fold out couch & balcony looking out to Epcot ( view to Spaceship Earth ball!)
Parlor- Double or Queen bed (not sure?) ours was not a murphy but the room was SO HUGE that it was not crowded at all. Dining area/4 chairs, another fold out couch, kitchenette, and full bath and oh yeah another balcony!! This balcony looked directly toward the Dolphin and was slightly enclosed and felt private and cozy.

BR#2 was 2 Queens

As it was we had plenty of space for family of 5 and each kid got their OWN BED...a very important point in our family!

So if a balcony really matters to you, you could try the Swan. We could not see the Illuminations fireworks from them though because they were blocked by the building and just out of view. I can't recommend this suite highly enough, it was perfect for us.
