Is there a certain location in BWV where the two bedroom villas are located? Or are they scattered throughout?

Staying in a standard 2 bedroom in June and would like to make a room request (I know nothing is guaranteed) that is close to an elevator but has some sort of decent view.

Any suggestions out there for a "good" area?

Thanks!

All two bedroom villas at BWV are lockoffs, so they can be either a two bedroom or a one bedroom and a studio. The standard view are along the main drive and front entrance.

You may just want to request a higher floor and close to elevator. But you probably should have made your request when you made the reservation. Just call MS now and add it to the reservation.

There is only one elevator bank at BWV. Since you are standard view, you will probably get a front entance view. I find it preferable to be a little away from the elevator at BWV (when in standard view) as the view is a bit nicer as you get further down the hallways, and you can see more of Illuminations over the convention center rooftops. Also, in standard view, the further away from the elevator you are, the closer the parking lot is, if that is a concern.

Requesting specific room numbers is a good way NOT to get your request, especially at the BWV.

If you want to be close to the elevators, then add that to your reservation by calling MS. BWV pre-assigns most rooms and it's tough to make any changes at check in.

FWIW, I would not want a SV room that is close to the elevators - you will hear beeping from the luggage trucks at odd hours as well as occasional bus noise from the ME & Cruise Line transfer buses.

Better to walk a little farther and have a quieter location, IMO. If you are lucky enough to get a room on a higher floor across from the bus stop, chances are pretty good that you will be able to see some of the higher level IllumiNations fireworks from your balcony.

Enjoy your trip - the BWV have a fantastic location and the SV rooms are DVC's best bargain! JMHO. YMMV.

For standard view at BWV, I always request top floor, across from the bus stop. You get a good view of the high fireworks from Illuminations. They are farther from the elevator but I think they are quieter.

Be careful for what you ask for, because you might get it. We requested to be near the elevators also adn had the misfortune to get the very first room after the elevators. I do not understand why the room was designed to have the wall where the bed will be to be the same wall where the elevators are:confused3. We had the pleasure of listening to the whirring or cables all night:scared1:. I would take a decent walk to the elevators then to have that room again.
