2 bedroom standard view at AKV, need expert help!

We are planning a late August trip and I need a little help. DD wants to bring her friend which I am fine with, but we may need a villa that sleeps 9! The problem is, I only have 168 points left to borrow form my '10 UY for the 5 nights. That leaves and OKW 2 bedroom ( she may not be able to come, since that sleeps 8), or a standard view at AKV. Do the 2 bedroom SV at Jambo and Kidani sleep 9? We would prefer Jambo if there is a choice. If not, what are the standard views like at Kidan? We have a first time WDW visitor and I'd like to provide a great experience for him. TIA

The Standard View, Savanna View and Concierge Level 2-Bedroom Villas at AKV sleep 9. The Value 2-Bedrooms (only in Jambo House) sleep 8.

what are the standard views like at Kidan?

You can have pool, parking lot, and maybe a partial savanna.

We just got back from Kidani 2 bedroom Savannah view. This was our very 1st DVC trip and we wanted to do it the to the max. I am glad we did it once, but I honestly woundn't use the extra points again. It was great to see the animals from our balcony, but we don't hang out in our room, so we saw them 1st thing in the a.m. and that was about it. I know you have a person traveling with that is a 1st timer and I think they will love just being able to see the animals from the view decks and going to Jambo and walking the grounds to see them.

I have to be honest, when we were last there in '08, the pool view at Jambo looked pretty cool. The pool grounds at Jambo are very nice and I don't think having a pool view there is bad at all....just sayin'
