2 bedroom AKL pictures?

Excited beyond belief here!

In June, my parents and brother our joining me, DH, and DDs on a Disney cruise, and my brother and I have decided that we will surprise them with a room for two nights pre-cruise in the 2 bedroom suite at AKL. I don't even care about the huge amount of money this is costing (ok, kind of do care, but brother will be generous and help with, oh, about $300 ). However, I am going to do this for them, of course DH and our children will be staying in the room, too, but life is short and my parents are 74, and both have had bad health issues this past winter, plus we have never ever done a full family vacation like this, so I am whipping out my Disney Visa and not looking back!

To really increase the excitement my brother and I are feeling (no one else will know until we check-in!), does anyone have pictures of a 2 bedroom concierge suite at AKL? Search is not working for me, and I did find a few pictures online but they were from years ago when AKL first opened, and I thought the suites had moved and been refurbished since AKV were added to the 5th and 6th floors?

Some pictures that my brother and I could look at would be great, maybe even an idea of where the rooms are located would be good, too. My parents are unable to walk very far without resting, so I am hoping the rooms are not too far of a walk from the elevators. The more prepared I am, the better!

Hiya, I've been trying to find out more about the AK villas concierge too, did you find out anything from anyone? I've done Disney concierge before but I was wondering if the DVC concierge will be any different?

Thanks Dawn68PA. I took your advice and looked for a thread with pictures at the DVC board, but did not find one. Search was no help, either.

Would the 2 bedroom concierge room at AKL be the same as one at the villas? Does the standard 2 bedroom at AKL have a kitchen in it and a washer/dryer? My mom would be thrilled with that, since all she does is cook, clean, and do laundry here at home, though I am hoping she relaxes and enjoys herself instead!

Kirstyw82, as you can probably tell, I don't have any pictures yet. Perhaps someone in the evening posters has been in a 2 bedroom and took pictures?

The two bedroom suite does not have a washer and dryer in the suite. The two bedroom villa does have a washer and dryer. They are not the same. AKV Concierge is limited to five two bedroom lockoff villas. Meaning they can be one studio and one one bedroom or one two bedroom villa. Times five. They go very quickly 11 months out and would not be available to a non-member.
