Because Desert Inn and Suites is right at the crosswalk to the
Disneyland Parks, you can go back to the hotel easily for naps or to escape being to hot or too cold then return to the Parks for more Fun!!
Our last trip was at the end of Aug. at about 4:00pm Dh and I would be too hot to continue, So we would go back to our air conditioned room and nap for a couple hours then eat dinner off property, and then back to the parks for more fun!!
There is a McDonald's just up the street past the Carousel Inn 2 story glass fronted hotel. We ate Breakfast there! It saved money for in park meals and those precous suvineers[i must have a new Tink pen, Tink Bank, and Tink key ring!!!]

Oh PS. Check the near by hotel gift shops for suvineers, too. Park Vue had the POTC key chains my DD wanted. THere was one of the gift shops going towards McDonalds that Advertised that they sold Juice.
