Personally, I like the suites. though you can usually get 2 value rooms for a bit less than a suite If you get preferred rooms, have more than 2 adults per room or get a fridge for one of the rooms, it is usually a break even.
The suites absolutely have two bathrooms. They took two rooms, put an opening between them - made one side the living room with a bathroom and the other side is a bedroom with a wall and door, and a kitchenette. The two bathrooms are mirror images of each other. There is one sink outside in the dressing area with a closet and a privacy curtain closing it off from the rest of the room. The toilet and bathtub are in a room behind a door next to the sink.
As long as you get non-preferred rooms and do not want to rent a fridge, the 2 rooms are cheaper than a Family Suite. But, there is no guarantee of getting connecting rooms, or even rooms next door to each other. Usually Disney is very good about putting people together, but sometimes it doesn't happen.
If you get a Family Suite, you can always use the kitchenette and save money on food. We had a small order sent in from Garden Grocer, and had breakfast in the room every day but 1. With 6 people, that saved us a bunch of money!
