We have booked a 14 day vactaion package and had to book another 4 nights room only because Disney don't allow you to extend your stay-do you have to check out and back in? Will we be moved rooms? Has anyone had issues doing this before?

Yes.

You can have your reservations linked together, and they will do their best not to move you.

The computers roll over at 6 am, so you can go anytime after that to get your new ressie.

I have had to do this the past few years, because my first day of my vacay is always blacked out from discounts. Most times I have not had to move, but one year I couldn't pass it up. They had an upgrade for me the next day, so I didn't unpack and moved the next day. It was fabulous!
