2 arrival dates, one with AP and one with a package

I want to check if my thoughts on this are current.

I know the rule used to be if 2 groups arrived on different dates, then the first group arriving could book FP for the whole party at 60 days from the first groups arrival. UNLESS the second group had tickets as part of a package.

Is that still the rule? Because I book my FP for June tomorrow, but my family is arriving a few days later with tickets as part of a package. So I assumed I will not be able to book their FP because they have package tickets. Or did this rule change recently?

As long as you are all linked in MDE as Friends, you can book the FPs for those arriving later, but the FPs for them will start on their check in date, not earlier. So, if their package starts on Friday, that’s the first day you’ll be able to get FPs for them.

I understand that, but do you think I will be able to book for them tomorrow, which is 60 days from my check in, even though it is 64 days from their check in (assuming I only want to book FP for them for the days they are onsite - they have a package). If so I will be thrilled.

I could only book my group this morning. I was not able to book any FP on any day for the people arriving a few days later with the package tickets.

This is really odd, but now, a few hours later, I actually am able to book FP for my whole group, even the ones with the package tickets that arrive a few days later. Thanks!

Yeah! Glad it worked (as it should). There are so many glitches, you just never know...
