I purchased DW an AP in advance which she hasn't activated yet. I've decided to add parking to it. I take it that I can add parking at the park when she activates the pass. But how can she park the first day at the park w/out paying?

Also, is there anyway to purchase parking for a family instead of an individual? The reason I ask in case I decide to get myself an AP and if I happen to visit DL w/out her. I don't think so, but I just thought I would ask.

Thanks.

I'm not sure how the 'voucher' with parking will work, but I would show it to the parking attendant and they will figure it out for you. For AP holders, they scan the AP bar code and your parking ticket comes out with your name on it. If your AP voucher has a bar code, maybe they'll just scan that and it will show up.

Oh! Sorry I read your post incorrectly. If you have not already purchased the parking option, then you will pay for the parking like normal. TAKE your receipt with you to the AP processing center and when you activate the AP and add the parking, they will credit you for that days parking fee.

As for 'family parking', unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Whoever has the AP with parking must be in the car with you. They don't have to be driving, but they must be in the car. Remember, DLR AP's have your picture on them and they scan the bar codes, so they can tell. Also, the parking doesn't work on a block out day, just like your AP won't work on a blockout day.

Have a great trip!
