2 AP Holder Questions

We have been AP holders for years but we have always bought tickets from UT an been successfully able to upgrade/bridge at that parks. This year when they announced the price increase/ticket change we decided just to buy directly from WDW). So since I have never bought directly before, I have never had to do the whole voucher exchange so here are my questions, and thank you so much in advance for taking the time to answer.


1) Did they send me a paper vouchers , because if they did I can't find them????????????

2) Our APs are showing up in MDE (inactivated of course) so will I be able to make my 60 day fast passes?

1) Yes, an exchange certificate/voucher that you bring to guest relations in parks or DS to swap for your plastic AP card

2) Yes, can book FP at 60 days with a resort reservation if AP is linked in MDE

1) Maybe, maybe not. It does not appear that sending the paper voucher always happens. If the AP shows up in your MDE account, there's no need for the voucher. Just go to guest services or any ticket booth and they'll scan your Magic Band to activate the AP.

2) Yes. Even though the AP is inactivated, it is still valid ticket media as far as the FP+ system is concerned - so you can book FPs 60 days before any resort reservation.
Note, since the voucher IS valid ticket media, you could also make FPs for any day from "today" through the next 30 days (but only 7 days worth), if you wanted to.

Thanks for all the information, perhaps I did not get vouchers in the mail. It is def in MDE so I will not stress over it

I got vouchers one time, back in 2016, but for my most recent AP purchase, I did not. There was a confirmation number that I got from the cast member that I spoke with on the phone when I bought them, and wrote those down. I did not need them when I went to redeem our APs, though.
If you are worried something will get lost, you could call and check what those confirmation numbers are, just to be safe.
