DH and I have one day at MK in September. It is not a recommended day on easywdw.com MK has extra hours so opens at 8am. We will be there for rope drop. I made a list of everything we want to do with notations on the things we could skip if need be. We would like to take a midday break around 12-1 until evening. We have a reservation at ohana at 5pm and then plan to return to MK after for more attractions and wishes. We don't care to see Electrical parade this time. Thanks for your thoughts and strategies!

*-things we don't HAVE to do (but really would love to fit them in), and +-things we'd like to do more than once if we have the time.

Walt Disney World Railroad
Jungle Cruise
tiki room*
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain+
Country Bear Jamboree
Haunted Mansion
Riverboat*
It's a small world
Mickey's Philharmagic
Dumbo
The Barnstormer
Dwarfs Mine Train+
Space Mountain
Tomorrowland transit authority
Buzz's Spaceranger+
Monsters inc. laugh floor
Carousel of Progress
Astro Orbiter*

If you're a Do Dumbo or Die type, then yes. Get fastpasses for dwarfs, or you might wait 40+ minutes for it. It's a short ride. Very short. Like under 2 minutes short. Anyway, second fastpass should be buzz and space or BTMRR. Whatever you don't chose, head there first for rope drop. They'll be walk ons. Do the big things in that area, and save the railroad, tiki room, country bear, river boat, IaSW, Philharmagic, TTA, laugh floor, and carousel of progress for when it's busier. If you can, get on astro orbiter as the sunsets, it's gorgeous. And I've never had a better time than being on Dwarfs during the fireworks. It was amazing.

Its possible, given that crowd levels should be quite low. Just have a good touring plan and make good use of your FPs. You may reach a point where you have to sacrifice either rides or some break time in the afternoon. Without a break it would definitely be doable at that time of year.

make you FP AT THE 60 (30 if off site) day mark for 7dmt, BTMRR and Buzz for the evening, since these are the rides that you want to do twice

8 am- bee line to 7DMT ride stand by
8:20 Space Mountain
8:40 Buzz
9:00 Astros Orbiter
9::20 railroad to Frontierland
9:40 BTMRR
10:00 Splash
10:20 Jungle Cruise
10:40 Tiki Room
11:00 Country Bears
11:20 haunted Mansion
11:40 River Boat

BREAK

7pm Monsters inc
720 fp for Buzz
740 Peoplemover
8:00 Cop
8:30 Barnstormer
8:50 Dumbo
9:00 FP for 7dmt
9:20 Philharmagic
9:40 It's a small world
10:10 FP for BTMRR

Some will take longer than the allotted 20-30 minutes, but some will take less. September crowds are usually pretty low.

If you ignore the times on this, it's basically spot on for what you want to do. You could probably move IaSW, philharmagic, COP and monsters up if you find the morning chunk didn't eat into your midday too much. Do them, then proceed to the rest of the plan.

This is awesome! I should have give more info though. MK hours for that day are 8a-9pm. And we would like to see wishes at 8pm but just want to see it. We don't have to be in a particular special spot. How would you change the itinerary? I realize doing things twice may be too much..

Ehhh...the 900 pm close may mean that you have to forget some of the * attractions. You'll just have to see how the day is going crowd wise.

Also if you are open to shortening your break, and say, leave the park closer to 2, you can do The following in the AM chunk:

Cop, Peoplemover, and Monsters.
OR
IASW And Phillharmagic

You might also be able to slip DUMBO and Barnstomer between Your AM Tomorrowland Block and the Railroad to Frontierland if you are running ahead.

Remember if you are in line at park closing, they will let you ride. ALSO they inflate end of night wait times to discourage you from getting in line
