2 Adults- both parks in one day??

I am sure this has been asked before.
DH and I are going to San Diego for a few days June 6-10. We are WDW people so of course being that close to DL we had to go (we are from New Orleans). We are going to go on the Thursday and drive up. It will be just the 2 of us.

Is it possible to do both parks in one day? It will be fine with me if I skip the rides that are also at WDW. I would only do them if time allowed.

I was also wandering if we got the one day pass and then decided to go to CA if we could add it once we see what the time is. I did read one post about Grad nights. Our trip is set and the days cannot change so we will have to deal with it.

I am a planner so any advice will be helpful.

Totally doable and totally worth it! We had one day last Feb and had a blast! It was our first time there and we hit most of the big attractions in both parks and even took a break mid day.

You will totally be able to see both parks - they're so close together. Don't forget that many attractions are much better at DL, like Pirates and Small World. Very few attractions are identical.
