2 ADRs same time 2 different locations?

So, we all know the computer system wont let you book 2 restaurants close in time to each other. My dilemma... there are 5 of us, trying to make a reservation for party of 2 at San Angel while I take the two younger ones for pizza at Via Napoli - party of 3. We want to eat at the same time but I can only reserve these two hours apart.

***ok, I had an idea as I was writing this, I signed into Disney with my other email and it let me make the reservation at the same time! Now everyone will be happy. Sometimes...people just want to split up and eat at different places.
So, I'll leave this post just in case anyone else has wondered or, tried.
Also, could I have call the reservation #? Would they have been able to override the computer?

For the bold, yes, they should be able to. In fact, when you're booking, it specifically states to call the dining line in this case .

oh...that's funny. But, so like me...not to read or see the fine print. This is good news though. It will definitely give us more options. Thanks!

Glad I'm seeing this. I hadn't tried yet (or read the fine print yet either!), but I was wondering if I'd run into problems booking my DD and I for a princess meal, knowing my husband & boys would want to eat somewhere else at the same time.

How far apart do ressies have to be before it auto cancels? I have one at 705 and one at 825p for the same day. It didn't cancel the first when I made the second....

I think it's about an hour. I know when I did some switching around for this year's trip there were a couple that didn't shoot me the cancel thingy as they were over an hour apart (but under 2hrs).

I believe it's an hour and five or ten minutes is the minimum.

Yes, I did the same thing for my upcoming trip with extended family. I booked one Le Cellier ressie under one email adress for a party of 4, and then under my other email address booked one at Via Napoli for my sister in law who is a vegetarian.

Call to book. We have a party of 6 eating in 3 different restaurants (2 at each) for a date night while we are there with friends. The cast member on the phone was able to book them all with no problem. The reservations are for 6:40, 6:45, and 6:55.
