2 ADR same place same time ?

I need an ADR for Y&Y for 7 people. I can't get an ADR for 7 people.

Will the system let me get an ADR for 4 and also one for 3 at the seating time? Or will it think I am double booking?
I have gotten one for 4 but there now isn't any availability for the group of 3. Just wondered how smart the system is.

We are 3 adults and 4 kids and would be fine with splitting that way.

I had to do that for Le Cellier. We are a party of 9, but couldn't get one for that many. Got 2 reservations-one for 5 and one for 4. But, I found out that I had to make the first reservation with DSIL as the lead and the second with me as the lead. Made mine first and it wouldn't let me make the second, said I already had a reservation. Had to cancel mine and make DSIL 's first.

I actually wondered about that exact thing as I was leaving my name as the contact person.

Hi There!!

Just finished doing the same thing, but I knew in advance I had to because my group is 14. When I called the day before to ask a few questions the Disney cast member informed me that I need two different credit cards and another persons account, otherwise the system would think I double booked and cancel one out.

It worked great and I am not stressing over a reservation being cancelled!

The automated system should be able to do that too, but I would use 2 different cards to guarantee them.
