2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

We too leave on Thursday morning and I have packed nothing! I have one great big pile, but haven't had time to pack yet. I am a college student and I am trying to work ahead in both of my classes so that I won't have to even think about school for a week! My brain is fried from the late nights and boy do I need a vacation! We will be going to the port from the Poly on the DCL bus, so we won't be there early enough to meet at the port. Are we still meeting onboard? Just let me know and we will be there! See everyone soon!

We're about HALF WAY done packing.....kinda disappointed, but that happens. I ended up with a bad sinus infection last week which zapped all my enrgy and work has been crazy hectic. I did get alot done this weekend though. I'll finish up over next couple days....hopefully! We don't leave until Friday afternoon/evening, so I'm sure we'll be fine.

I have our to DD's packed as of last night. My clothes are still strewn across the bed in the guest room, so I have some work to do there! DH hasn't done a thing yet ... he likes to wait until the night before we leave.
We leave Thursday as well ... we have to drive across the state to Seattle and drop our dog off at my Aunt's house (we don't like to kennel him). Then we leave Friday morning from Seattle and fly direct to Orlando ...
Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday ... safe travel's to all!

Towels? Why would you pack towels?

We have personalized Disney beach towels, which are the perfect way to remind us where our deck chairs are!! Plus, the crew can't pick them up and put them in the dirty towels bin!

oh yeah. almost forgot, the towels are big enough to actually wrap ourselves up in, so you actually get dry.

Laurie, these temps look AMAZING!! It got to +5 today and it felt much warmer to me I will be happy with most anything!!

I can't wait to meet everyone. We have our suitcases in the car, everything almost packed and are leaving for the airport tomorrow. Looks like we will be driving through some snow (long drive) so please pray for safe travel. See you all soon!

Safe travels Kristine and to everyone!! Where are you flying out of? 83 degrees is going to be a major heat wave for you then!! I can't wait.....that's why we go away this time of year!! It's nice to go someplace warm when it's snowing back home!!

Packing is almost complete--just need to pack the formal wear (I am trying to prevent wrinkles). Our vacation begins today at 3 pm, our limo will take us into Boston for the night, then we fly to Orlando at 7:30 am tomorrow!! I can't wait!!
