2/9/14 4-day on The Dream

Hi Guys,

This is our first time on a Disney Cruise and we wanted to make the best of it and experience everything the cruise has to offer. We are travelling with another couple, myself and the wife (she likes to be known as that) and our 6 year old daughter. (FEB 9th - on Dream - guess I didn't have to mention that)
We wanted to do the fish extender exchange but not sure what we are doing, my daughter decorated it and we don't know what to do with it. Do I have to join a group to exchange or can i do a random exchange with whomever? Or do we have to join a face book page? I think that I accidentally joined the first group which might be closed (kinda felt the rejection).
We are also looking to meet other couples on the cruise with children similar in age with our daughter (to babysit j/k).
But if there is anyone willing to take us in and to adopt our family in either the fish extender exchange, strictly platonic meet or both.
I'm new to this site so I'm not sure how it works or how response works, so I'll let you experienced people teach us newbs!!!

Hi there, I am Julie and yes you can use your real name. About the fish extender stuff. It was ok to join the first group. The one that is overseeing that one is also starting a second group. So you can talk to her about it. Its Ashley Siebers. So ask her on the group on Facebook and she can lead you to the right stuff. I hope I was of some help. My daughter and grandson will be on the cruise too and he is eight. I hope you find what you need to find. I will see you on the ship. hehehehehe

I just wanted to introduce our family to the thread. This will be our first Disney Cruise. We are sooo excited and counting down the days. We'll be traveling with our two little one, our Princess is 3 and our Pirate is 21moths. We are a young and energetic family that will blend in the the kids. lol

We would like to participate in the Fish Extenders club but not sure where to find the info or thread for it on our cruise date. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Late booking this cruise. It will be our 6th, and our DD's (2nd DD) first cruise.

Appreciate the offer and do hope we can hook up on board. My note was a little confusing. Our 4 1/2 year old is a cruise addict. This will be her 6th cruise. 4th for Disney and we did 2 on RCCL. She loves it! She got the call from Mickey and Minnie today as the surprise that we were going.

We are currently trying to stretch her in the hopes she will make 42 inches and can go on Aqua duck for the first time. LOL

My comment about first cruise is for our other daughter who is only 7 months old. This will be her first cruise.

I just heard about the Fish Extender Fun and was wondering if it was too late to join in on the festivities. My husband surprised me and our 3 kiddies (ages 13,10 &7) with this trip for Christmas. My 11yo started a kids thread if your older kids want to say hi. My kids will be in the edge with your 13yo My son is 13 and at soccer at the moment, but I will have him jump on there to quickly say Hi as well.

Julie started it yesterday or the day before (we are very last minute as well). It will give the kids a chance to get to know each other (briefly) before meeting in person at the Edge.

I've been trying to get in touch with Ashley (mommiesiebers) probably spelled all of that badly.

Just wondering if there is any other way for is to join in the second fish extender group. We have 3 cabins in our group with 7 kids ages 7-17

I guess we are too late, but that's not stopping me...I'm making my fish extender and putting it on my kids door (separate state rooms) and when they go to sleep I'll pull it in and fill it myself LOL. It's not going to be the same but they'll never know ;-)
