I think there is a toddler and then a kid section in both wtaer parks? Will the 5 year odl be allowed in the toddler section and vice versa (Youngest is still in swim diapers.)? My 5 yera old can swim and enjoys smaller slides, but the youngest will be in a floatation swimsuit. I'm assuming these are allowed since the padding is sewn inside the suit? I have never taken the kids to the water parks and never checked out the kids areas before. Thanks for any info.

The 5 year old can go in both area's. I have a 5 year old and we started in the little kid/ baby area and moved up to the pre-teen area at Blizzard Beach. She really enjoyed both areas. The pre-teen area has a tube slide that adults can go on too.

We have an almost 8 year old too and the greatest thing was when we got the 5 year old to go on Teamboat Springs with us and then also on some of the other tube rides. She was scared at first but then she couldn't get enough. It was so much fun to do stuff with the whole family. Even so it's also fun for Mom and Dad to take a break while the kids play at the kid's area.

Have fun!

I would recommend BB. The little tike area (I think thats what it is called) has enough for both kids to do. And there is a little swim area for the 2 year old and a play area. TL has a little wading area that is to the side of the wave pool and there is a strong current that comes through there and will knock the little one right over. Have fun!!

P.S. And if your 5 year old gets daring...they can try the pre teen area. My DD who is 5 is terrified of everything but loves the pre teen area.

it should be allowed, as long as it zips, or buckles to your child.

to the pre-teen area at Blizzard Beach. She really enjoyed both areas. The pre-teen area has a tube slide that adults can go on too.

I just wanted to point out that the Tube slide next to the t-bar goes into water about 10 feet deep, but if your child can swim (with or without a life vest) they should be fine.

also, over in the ski-patrol area (pre-teen) there is a slightly bigger tube ride then what is avaible over in tikes peak (the toddler area) which parents may go on too (and parents are also welcome on the bungee slide just to the left of the t-bar). Although parents may go down these rides, the child has to be in their own tube/by themselfs (bungee slide, parents can go down on the slide next to them and hold their hand, no sitting on laps).

I never really got over to TL, but what ever choice you make, it will be lots of fun for every one :D ENJOY YOUR TRIP!

I would choose TL over BB if I had only time for one since TL has more shade, beach area and a nice themed lazy river plus my DS loved the mini tube ride as well. Also, we would sit in the bay area where the wave wake would come in with me holding him - he had a great time there

Thanks
Jason
