2:30 am & SANTA CAME!!!!!!!!

I am so bloody tired and day hasn't even begun. Got to bed about 1, after getting all the gifts put out. DS wakes at 2:30 bolts to the family & proclaims "SANTA CAME-SANTA CAME". I finally got him back to sleep around 4 & come 6 he is up for the count. Oh, to be a child again.

Don't feel bad. I was going to wake my parents up at midnight.
Usually they usher me off to bed at like, 9:30.

One of mine never went to sleep-he occasionally came out of his room and tried to peek.

DH and I finally got to bed around 3:30 and son started in on me at 4am. I told him to go back to bed until it was light out! Other son climbed in to snuggle with me at 5, older son came back at 6. We were able to milk it out until 9am.

Not freaking out and only bothering me four times is a Herculean task for eldest, so we're very proud today. At one point, I told him to pop in a movie or put on the tv, but he didn't want to disturb me(I'm sleeping on the couch because of my leg). They definitely earned Santa's gifts this morning!

I'm pretty sure this is the last year we'll get of them believing (youngest is questioning), so I think we may move to letting them have a gift from us on Christmas Eve to tide them over until Mom and Dad get up next year.
