Congrats to everyone who have rec'd their docs!! Did any of you book your air through DCL? I've read that we might receive our docs later since we booked air with DCL.

Also, my brother's family booked through Expedia & I've read alot of bad experiences on the board about Expedia & cruise docs!!

Oh well, I'll just keep waiting for the call from my TA!!

Just two cold Michiganders that discovered this thread and looking forward to joining all of you on the Feb. 28th cruise. (actually, a "hi" to plutospup since we lived in Lewisburg/Winfield, PA until somewhat recently - We miss the "Fence" and the "Freeze", ever been there?)

So, will we be the only couple without kids along? We've heard great things about the cruises and we're looking forward to the warm and the families on board.

Jbix00 -- that's really great news about your TA. Tigger and I were really concerned about you receiving your documents early enough. We have heard nothing as yet - beginning to feel a bit impatient!! I saw where you were getting snow - all we have right now is sub-zero temps. Right now it is minus 16 and we are headed to the hockey rink for a tournament!!! Don't stand a chance of being warm today! We just keep thinking 2/28, 2/28, 2/28!!

3 things - I have heard of others doing this cruise without children and just loved it. I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

everybody - keep warm, keep counting down, and am looking forward to all being together on the 28th.

3 things...we look forward to meeting you, and everyone else! Imagine, someone else who is familiar with the Central Susquehanna Valley! Yes, we are familiar with the Fence. My DD6 loves to go down to the river and feed the ducks. We are familiar with the Freeze too, but we prefer Bechtel's (love the cashew covered sundaes!).

Our daughters ages 8 & 14 will also be on the cruise and will probably meet up with your kids!

This is our first cruise, but there is TONS of information in the cruise forum. See you onboard in a few weeks!!!

In reviewing these posts, there seem to be quite a few DD's in the 6-8 year old range! This will be perfect for my 7 yr old. If we have a DIS Meet on board, the girls will all have a chance to meet one another (if they haven't already done so in the club/lab) princess:

We're getting 12-18 inches of snow tonight; I really can't wait for the cruise to get here!

My status changed from a GTY to an assigned room on Disney's website today. I booked a cat. 11 GTY but got a cat 9. I'm please.

A little concerned about noise but pleased nonetheless.

Our documents arrived today!! They came priority mail-we booked with Costco.

The kids thought I lost my mind :crazy:

Now we're dancing in the snow, just dancing in the snow... with just a month to go!! :hyper:

My daughter just turned 8 a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad to hear of so many 7-8 yr old girls onboard. She is an only child and can be a little shy at first. I think a DIS meet is a great idea so our girls can meet each other and have friends in the Club/Lab.

One month from today, and we'll be on our way!

Any ideas on a place & time for a Dis Meet? Diversions...Sailaway Party...Studio Sea...Rockin Bar D? Thoughts & Suggestions?

Would there be time for a DIS meet in between the sailaway party and the early dinner seating? I think that it would be great for all of us to meet--but especially helpful for our kids. If the weather allows--maybe we could meet somewhere on deck 9 or 10 immediatly following the party--that would save time walking somewhere else.

I've never been on DCL before so am unsure of the timing of everything.

I spoke w/DCL yesterday & our docs are being held up for flight arrangments to be released today. Also, 2 older DD & DS have not been assigned a cabin yet--booked a gty 11 in Oct. What does that mean--should I be concerned? :confused:
