WOW I see where there will be 7 - YES SEVEN - cruise ships in Grand Caymen the day we are there. It is going to be crowded not only in port but also tendring. It wil be a free for all!!

6" of snow is enough to throw everything in a tizzy here in upstate NY - The drivers drive stupid.

Just one question? What's snow.I haven't seen that stuff in quite awhile.LOL.Talking about bad weather,It's dropping into the low 60's here during the day and low 40's at night.I think the Governer is calling for a state of emergency.Thought I inject a little humor to keep you guy's smiling till the 28th.Take care.Mike

haha i was at disney world a couple of years ago and it got in the 40's one day and they were calling in a windchill! lol people were wareing hats and gloves for almost 50 degree weather!!

Monday night we went to the new pool in town and tried out our new snorkel equipment ...nothing like getting ready for the cruise! The water temp in the pool was exactly the same temp that was reported for Grand Cayman earlier that day - 80 degrees F. BTW...it's an outdoor pool, but has a heated plastic bubble over it all winter. Sure was cold walking back out to the car though!

In 8 days we are "on the road" to Florida!!!

Hi everyone from the Great White North!!! I've been ignoring the weatherman lately on purpose--I don't want to know what's predicted up here--I want to concentrate on what we're headed to next week!!!

The fun has begun--I got my new hairdo yesterday and everyday from now on has something going on!! Before we know it, we'll be headed to the airport!!

yea!!!!our concern over the mess up on our dinner resis' has been resolved. I finally e-mailed an "expression of disappoint" vs. a complaint about all that seemed to be going wrong, not only over dinner but errors on documents, bad attitude from cast members, etc. Had a call today and dinner resis' are all set, all nine of us are confirmed for main dining. Full of apologies and have a "magic day". Now just waiting for next week to arrive. I AM READY.

JBix00 - how did the practice snorkeling go? see everyone next week.

That's great news that DCL finally sorted out all the mess they were causing re. your dinner ressies. One less lineup to head for when boarding. Now you can focus on the important ones - Palo, Vista Spa, Tea with Wendy, etc.

It's 3 a.m. The Emergency Room has called me back again. Oh joy, maybe I'll get home in time so I can hear my alarm go off at 6a.m. so I can begin another work day. Only 8 more days of work & 24 hr call...and I'll be on vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great to hear that we all will be seated together Macker!!! I called Disney Cruise yesterday to make some changes to our excursion reservations...the CM told me she couldn't pull my reservation up because someone else there already had it pulled up and was it was being modified

I'm calling again this morning to make the changes and see what's up with our reservation...maybe they just had it pulled up to cross-reference our dining seating....

"Training" session went well at the pool...everyone is all set to use their snorkel gear at the REAL beaches!

I am getting to psyched to go ... work is piling up at a rapid rate - one colleague resigned (last day of work February 27) so we're distributing all his assignments amongst three of us. Just what I wanted - more work

A yucky mixed storm is headed for us tomorrow; snow for the morning commute, followed by freezing rain, ice pellets, rain, more freezing rain, and 6 inches of snow on top of that!

Thinking about being onboard - Spa, Palos, ...

Anyone else planning to book Palo for brunch or dinner? We're thinking Sunday for brunch and Wednesday night for dinner ...

We're driving down from Maryland, so at least we won't have the "cancelled flight" anxiety over our heads...just have to deal with the coco-nuts on the road

We are driving three hours to Spokane on Thursday to fly out early Friday. It cost about $500 more per person to fly out of Missoula

It's not a bad idea anyway because the Missoula airport gets fogged in frequently this time of year and we didn't want to risk it.

We've gotten an inch of RAIN this week! Unheard of, and quite slippery in the mornings when its all nice an frozen.

Work is really busy for me this week too, but thank heavens I'm not on call! We'll all be ready for this vacation, won't we?

Our local airport (Willliamsport)closes at the first flake of snow. We're driving to another airport (Harrisburg) Friday morning that is better able to handle bad weather. One way or another we'll be on that ship 2/28/04!

jbix00...be careful with the "coco-nuts" on the road. Locally, with the way some people drive around here, it's safer to fly!

I love these little icons!!! For once, I am not stressed out about leaving work for a week and thoroughly enjoying it for when I return, one of my girls will be out on maternity leave probably by end of March!!

Anyone else heading down early and/or leaving late? We decided to fly down next Wednesday night to have two days of Orlando warm before the cruise and will stay in Orlando until the Tuesday after our return. Anyone else doing this? (or does everyone else know that this is a not so brilliant idea for some reason?) We just thought it would be nice to have more warm weather!

Doesnt look good for us teens. i heard that "the stack" is not a fun place to be. i heard that its very unconfortable! all plastic and metal. but maby the people on that cruise are just whiners lol! im sure itill all work out!
