This weather stinks!! We're expecting up to 1/2" of ice and then 6-10" of snow starting Monday and ending Wednesday. This trip can't get here soon enough.

This weather stinks!! We're expecting up to 1/2" of ice and then 6-10" of snow starting Monday and ending Wednesday. This trip can't get here soon enough.

Sorry about the snow, I am in no way trying to rub it in just letting you know it has been in the 60's the past few days so hopefully it will be like this in 2 weeks so everyone is comfy and happy when we sail!

As for me this is my de-stress day my girlfriend and I are having a girls day out at the spa, the point is to relax but I am sooooooooooooooo excited I can't wait to meet all of you and see the beautiful DREAM. 2 weeks from today!

We are very excited about the cruise! We will be in the single digits soon. The weather looks like it will be great (although anything above 35 will feel great to us)! We are sure sorry we cannot participate in the FE as we did look forward to it and the meet and greet. We are so busy getting ready for the wedding. We have to meet the on-board wedding corrdinator during the meet and greet.

We will definelty be onboard for the FE hopefully on our next cruise...Fantasy Maiden Voyage

I'm not sure if it's too late... But we had requested to be on the original list that was started and I don't see our names on this one. We moved this week and I don't have Internet set up yet! It's kiing me not to be talking on here!!

If we can get on the list- our names are Carrie and Ryan Hill. Our room is 12508. We will be sailing without our kids to celebrate our five year anniversary (on feb 10th). I am 32 years old and my hubby is 33! I cannot wait for this trip... It is soooo very needed with the chaotic move we have just done this week.

We are doing the Atlantis excursion in Nassau.

I'm right there with ya! YUCK! I am not looking forward to this weather we are about to get. I already have people trying to come live with me when the power goes out like it did in '06 since we have a fireplace, lol!

I just looked at our forecast. More snow coming six to eight inches Tuesday morning through Wedneday night with freezing rain in between. Lovely.

Congrats to you guys! My parents would have been married 15 years that day, and it's also my bro-in-law's birthday! My parents just passed away Dec '09 and Oct '10, and my hubby's mom in Mar '09, so this is definitely a much needed vacation!!! We just moved into their house in November and still trying to sell our old house, so I know what you mean! Must have been crazy trying to get settled this close to your trip, but at least you can relax a little

Reading some of the threads on the cruise board on the Dream. Hope they get some more bugs worked out in the next two weeks! Doubt we will be looking at any port upgrades now, as there are no reservations showing for our sailing on the DCL website.

So excited for you! I bet you have been very busy, I am sure we will all eventually run into each other sometime on the cruise. I bet we can spot you both on CC day just look for the bride and groom. I hope it is a beautiful day for you.

I don't think they have decided where yet, I believe the time is 3 or 330. Trying to do it just before the drill. Just keep watching the posts I am not sure who exactly is deciding. It is hard to figure out where because the new ship has different areas than the Magic and Wonder. ( no promenade lounge)

DUDES!! We're getting (like some of the rest of you)....3-7" of snow tomorrow & Weds. is bringing in snow, ice, freezing rain, etc. We spent all weekend trying to remove snow from our roof!

Here's to hoping we don't lose electricity!

Watching next week's forecast VERY carefully. I'll rent a car & drive down if I have to .

I've been reading the negative comments, too, about the Dream. As long as I can eat, sleep & read I'll be fine.

I'm near Chicago, and we are supposed to be getting up to two feet of snow by Wednesday! I told my hubby the same thing about traveling next week- if the airports are backed up we are renting a car and driving. I'm not missing my vacation for anything!!!!!

I wouldn't put too much into those reviews. It is just a handful of people that have extremely high expectations. I bet alot of the complaints are petty little things. I figure when you have 4000+ people on a ship there is gonna be a line or two. I did not do that great of a job when I first started doing it so I would imagine these poor folks will need some time to adjust. I think it will be great. If I come upon any kinks (hopefully not with the wedding though ) I will back the best of it and be grateful I am on this wonderful ship and not a work!
