What a great trip, wonderful weather, great tablemates, who could ask for more? DH and I had the most incredible thing happen to us at Castaway Cay! I can't believe I left this out of my trip report!
We took a tour of StingrayCity with another family, Mom, Dad and 2 daughters. Had a blast with them, the girls were SO cute! It seemed after our tour, we saw them everywhere.....at Scoops, poolside, walking up on deck, the girls always had a big smile for us. When we ran into them on Castaway Cay, they were showing us some of the shells they were collecting, so I asked if they collected Disney pins. I gave each of them a Mickey pin from Michigan and they gave me one of the shells they had collected as a "trade" (how cute!) . No more than 5 minutes later, the girls found us in one of the shops and very shyly asked if we would sign their autograph books! I couldn't believe my ears! Their Mom said they thought of it all on their own and were afraid to ask us. WOW, what could we say, I was dumbfounded....Me.....signing an autograph book, just a page away from where Mickey had signed??? How to make someone feel like a celebrity!!! A once in a lifetime experience!
