2/07/2013 4 - Night Bahamian Cruise, Miami FL on Wonder

It was a great FE experience.

My girls loved all the goodies. I found the staff very friendly and personable - all the way up to the Captain and other officers who sat near us for dinner almost every night...even the Captain's daughter was in the Ocean's Club with my girls...and he waited in line JUST LIKE every other parent did to pick up their child.

I found everyone very personable .
speaking of the cpt. , I was at the pool with his family . He was chatting with a women - possible his wife / family member ? who ever she was -- she was wearing some serious green butt floss . I thought a thong on a Disney ship was a little inapproperate ??

We kept the same cabin so it was easy as we didn't have to pack up our belongings.

We would do things a bit differently if we do it again. We actually got the kids up for the 8AM breakfast seating and then just hung out until 10AM when we had to meet at Studio Sea with the other groups that were doing a B2B. We were walked off the ship, our cards scanned, met with customs and then went back to the port area to do our check in. We then had to wait about 15 minutes and went back onto the ship via the concierge entry. We were the first ones back on. All in all it was about an hour of time out of the day.

In future we would let the kids sleep as we could have been in our room longer and then just went and grabbed stuff at the buffet to have in our room when we all got up. Then gone to the meeting at 10.

Loved the fact our kids were in the Mickey pool for probably 90 minutes before any other kid arrived! It was crystal clear

We travel A LOT partly because I am a Travel Agent! But my son likes cruising best and tells me all the time he would like to live on a cruise ship.

One of you mentioned cruising with Disney to Alaska. I did an Alaskan Cruisetour this past August. It was breathtaking! If I can answer any questions for you I would be happy too. My best price of advice is to do the cruise and tour if at all possible. I honestly can't tell you which part is best! I will be conducting another one in late July 2014. But I will be using RCI for it.

Our next family cruise is in Aug with RCI. We are cruising on the Oasis of the Seas to Labadee, Falmouth and Cozumel. I am so excited I cannot wait! I have not sailed the Oasis but have toured it and it is the most amazing ship ever. My dream ship as a matter of fact! I got lucky and was able to put a group of room together last minute two days ago. I just couldn't resist!

My next business cruise is in May of the Breakaway out of NYC. Very excited as well about it as it is the inuagual sailing for that ship.

It is good to her you all had a great experience on the Wonder and are planning further sailings without being scared off by the Carnival incident. I am having trouble in my business world convincing clients that it is safe to sail! Not fun!

I am so glad you and your boys enjoyed the cruise
Did you get the backpack? I ended up leaving it at Guest Services with your name/room number and they said they would contact you as I had dropped by your room but didn't catch you there and didn't want to chance just leaving it on the door in case someone else took it.
