1yr old child?

We are taking our two kids and my wife's parents to diz world this December. Our youngest will turn one during our stay. There are several bit of advice I am looking for.
1. Disney world with a 1yr old. survival hints?
2. Baby's birthday may lead to 5yr old jealousy issues. How to avoid/deal with it?
3. Is there really much for a 1yr old to do?
4. If you have any other thoughts please share! (I will post some in-law questions later)

Survival tips.. It can be cool here in dec. bring a sweat shirt. Also bring snacks into the park and juice boxes. you are alloud the bring a soft sided small cooler such as a lunch box.you can stash it in a locker or as i do put it in the stroller basket. bring your own stroller if you have one. the ones in DW dont recline and are hard plastic.
As for the first birthday .. think about it. is the 1 year old REALLY gonna know it is his/her birthday ? Its more for you I am sure them him/her.what if you made a shirt for both kids. the baby's could say babys 1st birthday with mickey .. older siblings could say "Spoil me my brother is 1 today" or something else cute like that. that way older sibling could still get attention too maybe also let older sibling wear the birthday pin seeing it isnt safe for the sibling to wear it .Another cute thing is let the older child help you put the babys feet all over a t shirt and say on it "My baby Brother walks ALL over me "
they do have sprinkler things in the parks the kids can run thru. in Mk there are 2 play areas i know of just for kids/toddlers to play. One is near Donald ducks Ship and another is near winnie the pooh.
As far as the jealousy goes if you dont make such a big deal over the babys birthday or tell them that its ging to be a simple thing to celebrats the babys first year in our family ( as apposed to saying "birthday" ) I think they will be ok with it. maybe instead of a big Birthday thing let the older child pick out a special sippy cup for the baby.. could be like a treasure hunt and you will be suprised at what they find .. i hope this helps . We have 5 kids and I know it is rough going to the parks sometimes. have a great trip!
