1st Weekend in September?

Has anyone been around this time? I have just booked us 2 nights in the Holiday Inn from Sat 2nd to Mon 4th September - tagged on to our week in Holland. We will be going as usual in November for the Christmas season so am not too worried about crowds - but will it be mad busy? This is the weekend just before British and French kids return to school, so will that help? Or will there be loads of mad people like me there?

hi, we went for four nights at that time last year from Thursday to Monday, It was not busy and we never encounted any crowds while we were there however on the Saturday we went in to Paris and on the Sunday at the studios so not sure if this will help you as we did not go to the Disneyland park on weekend days.

I have heard though that September hotel bookings are up compared to last September.

We went the first week of September last year and the crowds were not too bad.

The hotels seemed to be very busy with convention crowds but the parks were ok.

Thanks for the replies - I'm really hoping that most people will be getting ready to go back to school!

I know that weekends in November are manic, I guess September will be similar.
