***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I was going to make them for everyone going on 12/3!!! I bought the lanyards and some other items to put them together, but need to create the actual namecards. I know we have a 12/3 list going so I'll need help finding that when I'm ready.

That is super nice of you! There is a list on the google doc spreadsheet also, but I'm not sure if it's up-to-date. It's on the JBJB Party tab.

In the midst of this icky, depressing morning, I at least got a ray of sunshine. Notification that my mb order for the 2nd half of my split stay just shipped! Woot! I also see that my first order of mb's is originating in Nashville so I'll be interested to see what kind of roundabout route it takes to reach me!

Mine finally left pennsylvania and are making their way here. They scanned out of providence this morning at 5:09am, and usually when something departs Providence at around 5am it is on a truck to the island and I get it that day... it comes into the PO around 11am and gets delivered. If not today then tomorrow. I think I will drop those additional people from my room only reservation once I get the magicbands though. Does anyone see any downside to doing that? once they are phantoms it doesn't matter for SDFP if they are in my room, I just wanted the free magicbands (declined magicbands on my other 2 room reservations so Disney is ahead by 2 ).

I suppose I should order the magic band covers too.

I was just thinking of this last night because I also have 2 phantom room guests to remove. I think that I'd rather remove them now to avoid questions at check in if they are expecting 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I don't see any benefit to having extra guests on your reservation that won't be there.

The only downside I would see is if Disney would charge a fee to make the change. I know that if you had a package then you would be charged since you are less than 30 days out.

This is super sweet! kiddo and I were going to bring a load of glow something, maybe bracelets. he wants to give stuff out and make new friends (also for the 12/8 MVMCP parade waiting). We were going to do necklaces but everyone is getting those christmas light necklaces so maybe bracelets instead. You can put a few together into a necklace if you want. Just got kiddo's fundraiser order yesterday and it has some xmas light necklaces too (that I ordered back in september for our trip) so now we have some too. I know I overpaid but it was for a fundraiser. Here are the ones I got, only some light up and some are just metallic looking.

I just called and updated the guests on the room only reservation. Took all of 7 minutes (and that was the regular line for me, not DVC of course). Very easy and already my MDE page is updated correctly.

I want to return the big bulbs and get these with the smaller bulbs. They weren't at my local store when I went, so I'm going to try some other stores. The big bulbs are just too big. DH said he won't wear it!

yeah I would not wear the big bulbs either but I thought the small bulbs were ALL light up. The nice thing about these is they look kind of pretty in daylight too because of the shiny metallic bulbs interspersed with the LED ones. I think they only light up red and green looking at the pic.

I do like the look of the small bulbs. Michaels here didn't have them. Will check home Depot next week.

I have so much stuff to return. I keep buying clothes and stuff and then changing my mind later or feeling I spent too much for shirts that I likely won't wear after Disney. I decided that I'm only keeping 1 or 2 of the Disney t-shirts that I bought, because I don't like how these plain unisex t-shirts fit and the fitted women's were too tight. So now I'm planning to wear nicer shirts that I feel comfortable in (that's what matters most anyway!). But I am on the hunt for some solid tees that I like the fit of and can try to get iron-on decals if I have time. I'm kind of bummed about it because I really liked the thought of DH and I matching for pictures, but it's not worth wearing frumpy or tight shirts that I'm uncomfortable in.

I did finally find a swimsuit top/shirt that I really like. Just need to find bottoms. I don't know if we really will spend time swimming, but I want to be prepared. I can always not take the tag off and return it after the trip if I don't end up using it.

@JamieOak I found ones just like Lisa F put in the picture at Michaels on Saturday evening. They were $5 each and I used 30% off total purchase coupon for them, so I got three from $11 with tax. They also had snowflake ones that light up that my daughter picked for her and my friends DD. The snowflake ones look like something Elsa from Frozen would wear!!!! My DS picked the Christmas bulbs one. We're not even going to a Christmas party but thought the kids might want to wear them after dark anyway...

I didn't know if it was just mine or if it was all of them that only partially light up... no chain stores here for me to check and I ordered them way before people here were talking about it! These were $9 a piece which I think is like double what you guys are paying at home depot but as I said... school fundraiser lol. I also overpaid for a couple of little mercury glass votives.

I'm just going to bring my one swimsuit with me and we will probably only swim once. Kiddo has tons since he takes swim lessons all year.
