I hate to be a downer, but I went from being so sure it would be open, to being hopeful, to right now ( as of a few days ago).....not even thinking about it in my pm ak day

I agree that I thought there'd be a soft opening by now.
Especially with that 10/16 date several mentioned a few weeks ago
And those dining packages!
I thought for sure they'd repost them the next day..
What were they thinking?!?
I'm thinking of switching Ohana dinner to that day just to make the day a bit more " exciting ." Lol

I do think they should be motivated to get it up and going by the holidays but I also think a lot is at stake in the PR dept if they open it before it is ready and it experiences technical issues and breakdowns.

ok guys, what is everyone's feeling on RoL? I was really expecting it to soft open by now. I feel like at some point if it doesn't soft open far enough from thanksgiving they will hold off til January so that they don't have a big mess on their hands and unhappy guests with an unreliable show during the busy season. Also I think that adding more hours (especially late night at the MK and HS) is an acknowledgement that there is not going to be any nighttime entertainment at the 4th park to split the load.

What do you guys think? this is total speculation on my part.

Honestly, I think Disney is being very cautious. They had a lot of backlash this Spring from many people who booked solely on ROL. They just shocked the heck out of us with new fireworks and perhaps they'll do the same with ROL.

This. I wonder if they're being so cautious with RoL too because of the awful reviews Jungle Book got after they hastily threw that together. I am basically just resigning myself to the fact that it won't be running by our trip. And if it is, it's an added bonus. I mean, they already took away MSEP, SWGS, and half of HS from us.

I'm almost hoping it doesn't. I like my after CA Grill epcot plans lol. but i will give them up for RoL.

One of the shirts I ordered came today and it is really small (like jr sizing). I'm so disappointed and hope they will possibly exchange it. I contacted the other company I ordered from and asked them to possibly make a different size (that one hasn't shipped yet, so here's hoping).
