***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

just wondering, .... @Lisa F do I remember you mentioning that if I want to try to book a H&V Minnie's holiday dine with fantasmic I should try for sometime BEFORE 4:30? does anyone know if there is a place that mentions the exact time frame that the H&V meal is in fact "Minnie's holiday dine" versus just a regular dinner? or is any dinner time going to be "holiday dine" during the weeks that we are there.? I just want to be sure I know what I'm looking for in the event that a time pops up. Is there a certain dinner time that will not include the Fantasmic package? like 530 or something?

sorry to be so confused. There are just so many options!! Confused about people reserving for just the dinner versus the dinner and show.. and a holiday option! :(

Thanks @Lisa F and @Candycane83 for the kind words and advice. I think I will try to go without the DAS. Hopefully with a group We can form a safety bubble around her.

As all of you have mentioned I love reading and hearing everyone's plans and know how. Here's to a great trip for us all!
you won't need a safety bubble :) she will be just fine. Really most people are kind. But appearing to cut the line brings out the worst in some people. Mostly I meet nice people when I am at disney. I also had a rough day with a customer today and am just tired of people so maybe a bit more cynical than usual, lol. Disney is heaven for kiddos with special needs, they really do go above and beyond to accommodate. The only thing the DAS helps with is if she can't wait in line for some reason... if she can (in her stroller) then she'll be just fine :)

any dinner is holiday dine so just go to regular holiday dine and see what the first dinner seating is and that is the beginning of your window. I think anything much past 4:30 is not included because they want you to have 2.5 hours (I think) before show time for meal time.

Sorry I don't think I explained it quite properly. So we can try again :)
The name of the restaurant is Hollywood and Vine. Dinner here is called Minnie's Holiday Dine regardless of the time as long as it is categorized for dinner. (I believe it starts at 3pm) this dinner is basically a character meal buffet where you meet the fab 5 dressed in holiday costumes :) You can get this dinner with a dining package that includes priority seating for F! show. Since fantasmic is scheduled at 7pm daily now, the dining package should be available from 3pm-4:30pm because disney's general rule is that dining packages would be offered 2.5 hours before the show :)

I also have to say, I'm in two different threads since our trip is 11-12 days long now (Holy Moley, how did that happen?!?!) so we are straddling both the week after Thanksgiving and the early part of the following week. Anyway, I'm starting to worry I'll get mixed up and start talking about something in this thread and continue the thought in the other! lol :scared:
You and me both!!!

I'm sure some of you saw this too, but someone just posted that hoop Dee doo reservations just opened up for November. Are there people here looking for those? I'm not on my computer but maybe more December dates opened too?
THANK YOU!!! I have been checking non-stop since I was only able to get category 3. Just got my night, time, and category 1 :)

Okay, I worked hard all afternoon and I think I have reworked our trip so I wanted to post my new plan!

Saturday 11/26 - arrive at MCO around 11 pm, hopefully be at Pop by 12:30 AM and asleep by around 1:30 :coffee:

Sunday 11/27 - SLEEP IN, then go to Epcot around noon and activate our tickets early. We'll focus on some Agent P missions through the afternoon (we didn't get to try these last time) since we won't have a chance to make FP+ ahead of time. Perhaps grab a ride on something if we want to. Otherwise, we'll be back to Pop in good time to hit the hay and be ready for our move to AoA the next day.

Monday 11/28 - Up early to move over to AoA. Check out of Pop first to hopefully avoid problems with our dining plan and charging to the new room. If the room at AoA isn't ready yet, we'll leave our bags with bell services and get to DHS for the day.

Tuesday 11/29 - MK EMM if we can afford it, otherwise just plain rope drop > AK around 1:00 either way.

Wednesday 11/30 - Epcot rope drop for Joy and Sadness first, followed by Soarin' on standby. If possible, we'll have a fastpass at FEA at some point, likely in the evening.

Thursday 12/1 - Sleep in, hit Disney Springs and/or swim at AoA and/or do some mini-golf, kind of just do whatever until 3:00 when we head to MK for MVMCP! :cheer2:

Friday 12/2 - Sleep in as needed for recovery from the night before, then head to Epcot for some relaxed touring.

Saturday 12/3 - AK EMH > Boma breakfast > either DHS or stick around AKL for activities and animal watching

Sunday 12/4 - MK rope drop, stay through the day, dinner at Whispering Canyon

Monday 12/5 - DHS rope drop (primarily for the teens to hit multiple rides on TOT and/or RnR) > Epcot for the day

Tuesday 12/6 - AK for the day - OR we can hit about any other park if anyone has anything they didn't get to do yet.

Wednesday 12/7 - Tragical Express picks us up around noon for our return to reality. :(

Thank you thank you!!! I got a reservation but I have a feeling I'm going to need to rearrange a few things again...

I feel so much uncertainty in my plans. :scared1:

I thought once the dates for EMM were announced I'd be all set. Now I can't pick which day fits best into our schedule.

We'll be in Disney from 11/26 to 12/6.... certainly that should be enough time to fit everything in!
EMM possible days 11/27,11/29 or 12/4....
11/27 is a no go because we have an 11:30 BOG lunch
That leaves 11/29 or 12/4...
11/29 we have the Twilight Safari at 10pm with dinner at Sanna at 8:15. EMM would make that a very long day. I suppose we could get a late start on 11/30 we have the Wishes Dessert party booked for that night. We were planing on staying in MK to midnight with EMH.
12/1 is a planned half day rest/DS... MVMCP night.
12/4 was supposed to be our RP Epcot day. I figured with the SW dessert party on 12/3 that would be a fairly early night.

I guess a just need to pick a day!!! ::MickeyMo

@LisaF assuming we get enough of us to on 12/3 for the SW dessert party. There should be no issues with you having to juggle food and drinks by yourself with kiddo. We'll have lots of helping hands.party:

@1437disney I'm sure with your large group and all the kind people in Disney your daughter is going to have a magical time. You may want to get the DAS just to have it. I may give you peace of mind just having it even if you never use it. It's never easy having a child with special needs. I think Disney tries to go above and beyond accommodating all kinds of needs. :butterfly

t-shirts!!! I sooooo want to do matching ones for at least one day. Unfortunately, my cool teenagers are drawing the line there.

On a side note.... my three yellow SDFP magicbands arrived today! :wizard:

@Iowamomof4 love your plans! It seems very balanced with a few early mornings and a few relaxing days! :)
@BDFmom i think 11/29 sounds like your best option? I know you have the twilight safari but maybe you could do EMM until noon or so and rest up until the safari? You can also show your your teens the cool designs on etsy! I think you might be able to find different styles with the same kind of print that would be matching but not exactly matching? ;) or go for some matching ears or hats :)

Is anyone looking for Hoop De Doo reservations for December? Our week just opened up...got like 7 texts at once from Resfinder! Finally got my HDDR for 12/9 that I've been waiting for!! :cool1::cool1:

Woohoo! Congrats to all of us for getting the ressie thanks to @rasadkowski :) again thank you so much!

I vote for 11/29 since that's the day we're aiming for! ;)

We plan to go to MK on Sunday, Dec 4th, hoping to get there early enough to walk on a bunch of rides. Is that going to be an Extra Magic Morning? I was hoping that it wouldn't be too crowded that morning since it is a party night. :(
