***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Hmm, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I can see evening being good if ROL is supposed to be as good as they make it sound... Plus, I would really want to watch the Tree of Life light up. During the day, we will have 2 mornings there basically (5th- 9-12/12:30 then 6th 10am-2pm including meals already?). I can see the boneyard playground/ triceratops spin being fun for DS2 and maybe do the safari and the train to rafiki's another morning... Any other suggestions?

EDIT: in regards to Chef Mickey's and Kona, I tried that but it seems impossible to find Chef Mickeys now for the 8th. I think Chef Mickeys is ok for RD day since 1- it's early enough for 9am opening and 2- we can walk to MK so we don't need to rely on Disney transportation

I love the flights of wonder show at AK. it is definitely a minor attraction but my son was enthralled when he was in the front carrier at around a year old and I am looking forward to taking him this time. it is pretty convenient to africa, discovery island etc. Also festival of the lion king. I would do flights of wonder before lunch at Y&Y, they are so close to each other, I'd do TH breakfast, Safari, LK show and Rafiki's thing together.

Thanks for the suggestions! I do love the Flights of Wonder too! Hopefully my son would be interested. Lol if not I think it's pretty easy to exit. I'm on the fence about the festival of the lion king though. We'll see.

Hmm since its AK the next day, maybe you should consider AKL. Go to Sanaa for dinner, watch the animals and relax, have an early night since it's travel day. Wishes will be there once you move to Poly?

I have committed to this plan. I let BLT go. I needed to make the reservation for the person who swapped his poly points for my BWV so I had to cancel one. The time to play is done! Kidani and Sanaa it is!

Ok I realize I have an issue now... I am on DXDP first part of my trip and I completely forgot that my whole reason for going to EPCOT on the 5th was to use those snack credits!!!

what were you going to use them on? I would not let snack credits drive my decisions. Meals, yes. Whatever snacks I have left I will get things to bring home to keep the magic alive

Lol true but I don't want to have a bunch of snack credits wasted either. I was thinking about getting some snacks from bakery from France, caramel shop in Germany to put in the fridge for the next couple of days. Oh and a croissant donut with ice cream if we have tummy space. Lol! I'm thinking of just having breakfast at TH and going straight to EPCOT after. We have park hoppers so it shouldn't be an issue I'm hoping it will be cool enough so pastries and sweets will be ok while we go around! The room should be ready around 3 so we will head to CR around then.

you could get one of those cheapie thermal bags from the supermarket (they look like silver metal color) and put your snacks in those in your bag. they don't take up much room, not like a real cooler. Also ziploc bags, put a handful. I have heard that the caramel corn from Karmel Kuche is phenomenal and if you put it right into a ziploc it stays good for weeks instead of getting stale.

I just realize you have a breakfast scheduled almost everyday right? Wasn't your original plan to buy breakfast pastries for the next few days? Lol I think we all need a good list of snacks then post pictures here during our trip!

yeah when I was thinking of doing poly first (before it sold out *#(&$#(* early december and dvc) the plan was to move into bwv and use the rest of my snack credits at the bakery as breakfast for the OOP portion of my trip. But now I am doing DxDDP and doing it for an extra day and there are really only 2 days that i am paying oop (not counting breakfast before we leave) so figured why not just continue the pattern and do a breakfast and a dinner a day. so we'll do Boma, which is pretty cheap for both of us with DVC discount and CP as our traditional last full park day character meal (traditional as of one trip lol). Hoop dee doo because i wouldn't want to do it on dining plan and it is a great way to end the trip. and Ohana just cuz that's when it fell

I don't know but just wanted to add my WOOHOO. Keep checking for an earlier time. I will be releasing my 5:05 at some point and not sure if that will open up availability for 3 but we can try!

Cape May Breakfast has one but I won't switch an epcot day with a MK day when I am at close resorts to them to save what is basically $5. Yak and Yeti does. Narcoossees surprisingly does but I can take that off of the OOP portion of the meal (will pay for kid's meal OOP). I think that is it. most of my choices are not discounted in other ways.

I want to do TH as the dining package and hoping it is still 1 credit for breakfast (for $37 it should be). Half considering Tiffins instead of Y&Y but I would have to pay kiddo OOP there as well since I don't have the credits for that. y&y is not as fancy but sounds very good to me. not sure it is worth it for me to pay for the kiddo OOP for that. and I just think the food is a lot more approachable at Y&Y also for him. though he might not care for any of the sides but the go-gurt he really wants to try to pulled pork cheese fries at Flame Tree and if it is a late night there it will be a good use of a snack credit.

It hasn't searched for me since 6:20 this morning. I tried to cancel one of my searches and plug it in as a new search to sort of reset it, but it tells me, "The restaurant is closed for the dates selected. Please select a different restaurant or dates." But when I select a different restaurant and/or dates, I get the same message. I'm soooo hoping that hasn't gotten shut down like the other res finders did!

Oohs those fries sound good! If you don't eat at Tiffins then maybe you could take a break at nomad lounge and get a drink. That would let you experience the place still. Unfortunately for me, DH rarely drinks so stopping for a drink is not an option for me. I might try those fries if we get an early Tiffins reservation and get hungry later. I've been looking for snacks options at AK!
