***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

yeah, for you it is extra hassle. for us i think we'll swim around lunchtime then shower and change and head down for dinner to be there before they open and then hit the monorail for the party. except for it being a heavy meal it is pretty much ideal. I mean I guess we could control ourselves but what is the fun of that? lol I have a feeling when they put that bread pudding in front of me I am going to stuff it down lol

Lol I hear a lot of good things about that bread pudding! I sure hope it lives up to the expectation!

Hmm what do you think... on our last morning before going to the airport (flight is 2pm) would you go for PPO for Crystal palace?

I personally wouldn't waste a park day with so little time. I need time to reorganize my stuff to go home and not feel rushed.

if you are organized and ready to go I would. extra park days are cheap after 5 or 6 days, like $10, so I would not be fussed using one just for breakfast. you can walk and are not in trouble if there is a problem with transportation. I'd totally do it if ready to go the night before.

Oh great plan! Nice that your DD would ride RnR and ToT!

As for Sci Fi, if you think you will eat there, then get the ADR just as a placeholder for now?
Well I can't seem to book Sci Fi. I think we'd eat there. I've heard good things about it and it looks super cool! I have 50s prime time booked for lunch and then 3:45 "dinner" because I can't book anything later which is weird.

Yup my DD is a little daredevil. She'll love those rides I'm sure.

I think we should be ok. I already have 9 day tickets and we're not entering the park of MVMCP day so we have an extra day anyway :) I'm actually thinking it'll be a nice way to end the trip... Now I'm thinking if I should do RD on Saturday Dec 10 and PPO on departure day or the other way around. I found PPO crystal palace for both days...

Aww that's great your DD is a daredevil. I hope my DS would be the same way. DH is not much on coasters but he's ok with Disney rides. If DS is a daredevil, I would have someone to ride coasters with!! ;)

I think the reservation times are all weird actually but maybe because of the current released park hours. I really hope they release the additional ones already. For Dec 4, almost every restaurant around the MK area are all booked up for dinner! It's scary im afraid it'll be very busy now...

Has anyone been able to get CRT? I have been on the site, the app, calling in, stalking the cancelled reservations board...There is nothing! One CM at my 180 days said she actually didn't see anything, as in it wasn't loaded onto the system. But no other CMs will confirm that. I know it's one of the most popular places, but there was nothing even at 180+10! It would be nice to stop stalking Disney.

I got CRT PPO on 12/3

haha my kid doesn't want to hear it. "mom, that all sounds the same to me!" he doesn't care at all about when things are, just that he gets to do them lol.
Same!!! Dh doesn't care and dd I don't think gets it. She's just happy to meet princesses (she's stoked about 1900 park fare dinner which is on our last night. A nice way to end!)

How many ppl are you looking for? I'm actually surprised I see so much availability for CRT and BOG PPO... But I always look for 3 ppl only.

I can say that they must hold some tables. I've been looking for a table for Narcoosee's for Dec 4 and there was nothing! Until this morning... There are several times available now between 5-8!

We are looking for 6 at CRT. A CM did try different size parties over a few dated and found nothing. I will keep stalking!

Did you check today? Someone over on the cancelled ADR thread said they saw a bunch on December 10. Maybe they loaded more or maybe a large party cancelled for that day!

No! :( we are thinking of the Italian place on boardwalk? Everything seems loud. Yachtsman seems a bit too pricey
I have never tried it but it seems to get good reviews :) Supposedly, flying fish will open late summer I think? Maybe that's something you can look into as well. You're looking around the EPCOT area right? Nothing interesting with the Swan Dolphin hotels?

I'd love to try flying fish. I wonder if the menu will change though? Yes epcot area. Not interested in swan/dolphin restos

I think the articles I saw is that they would keep some popular dishes but will generally change the menu. I guess we will have to stay tune until around late Aug or Sept I think. Im thinking either flying fish or bluezoo for my last night :)

Hello! Just peeking out of lurkdom to join this thread.

It's our first trip to WDW this Nov/Dec. Thanks for this board, I learned all about how to get free dining and booking ADRs. When the window opened up I managed to get most of what we wanted, with a few exceptions and some rearranging of times. There are 5 of us going - three adults, and two kids (ages 9 and 5). This is what we snagged:

Saturday, Nov. 26th: Arrive at WDW. Check-in/relax/ride the monorail.
Reservation: Dinner at Chef Mickey's 8:35pm (very late, but it's all I could get!)

Sunday, Nov. 27th: Animal Kingdom morning; Epcot evening.
Reservations: Tusker house breakfast 10:10 (may cancel); Biergarten dinner 7:10

Monday, Nov 28th: Hollywood Studios
Reservations: Sci-Fi Drive-in Diner 4:15pm (going to try and get later)

Tuesday, Nov 29th: Magic Kingdom
Reservations: Crystal Palace 8:20am

Wednesday, Nov. 30th: Nowhere, but maybe Magic Kingdom at night
Reservation: Ohana 6:30pm

Thursday, Dec. 1st: Magic Kingdom (late start)
Reservation: Be Our Guest 12:20pm
*This may work if Animal Kingdom ends up having later hours - we could hop over for dinner.

Friday, Dec. 2: Epcot
Reservation: Coral Reef 7:05pm

Saturday, Dec. 3: Hollywood Studios, or somewhere else (not committed yet)
Reservation: Beaches and Cream 7:10pm (a bit late - might just head there for a kitchen sink dessert)

The only thing I couldn't get was BOG dinner. It was impossible. I'm still trying, but I'm not sure it's worth it given our very packed schedule. Do you think that the lunch reservation is enough to enjoy the experience there, or should I keep trying? I would aim for something on Tuesday or Thursday.

Thanks for all the great planning advice I've read on here - I'm very excited for our family!
