Hello! Just peeking out of lurkdom to join this thread.
It's our first trip to WDW this Nov/Dec. Thanks for this board, I learned all about how to get free dining and booking ADRs. When the window opened up I managed to get most of what we wanted, with a few exceptions and some rearranging of times. There are 5 of us going - three adults, and two kids (ages 9 and 5). This is what we snagged:
Saturday, Nov. 26th: Arrive at WDW. Check-in/relax/ride the monorail.
Reservation: Dinner at Chef Mickey's 8:35pm (very late, but it's all I could get!)
Sunday, Nov. 27th: Animal Kingdom morning; Epcot evening.
Reservations: Tusker house breakfast 10:10 (may cancel); Biergarten dinner 7:10
Monday, Nov 28th: Hollywood Studios
Reservations: Sci-Fi Drive-in Diner 4:15pm (going to try and get later)
Tuesday, Nov 29th: Magic Kingdom
Reservations: Crystal Palace 8:20am
Wednesday, Nov. 30th: Nowhere, but maybe Magic Kingdom at night
Reservation: Ohana 6:30pm
Thursday, Dec. 1st: Magic Kingdom (late start)
Reservation: Be Our Guest 12:20pm
*This may work if Animal Kingdom ends up having later hours - we could hop over for dinner.
Friday, Dec. 2: Epcot
Reservation: Coral Reef 7:05pm
Saturday, Dec. 3: Hollywood Studios, or somewhere else (not committed yet)
Reservation: Beaches and Cream 7:10pm (a bit late - might just head there for a kitchen sink dessert)
The only thing I couldn't get was BOG dinner. It was impossible. I'm still trying, but I'm not sure it's worth it given our very packed schedule. Do you think that the lunch reservation is enough to enjoy the experience there, or should I keep trying? I would aim for something on Tuesday or Thursday.
Thanks for all the great planning advice I've read on here - I'm very excited for our family!
