We are heading down to the World in mid-Dec...our 1st week will be the week before Christmas (arriving 12/14). I expect the crowds to build beginning on the weekend (Saturday,12/20) until it gets really busy on Christmas day and beyond. Our plan is to see each park at least once during the 1st week, with an emphasis on the popular rides. We are also planning a day at Universal and another at DQ during the 1st week. We want to do the parks during the 2nd week as well, but i'm not sure how to plan the days. Should we save the less popular attractions for that week? We will have the equivalent of a length of stay pass...

How would you do this? Thanks so much for any input! :D

Get in all the "must dos" during the slower first week. As the crowds build, plan to "go with the flow". If something is too crowded, skip it and go on to something else. Take this time to explore all the special holiday happening and decorations.

Hi local_girl. I think you have it figured out pretty well. The only thing I'd add is to maybe plan more time for resort hopping/decoration viewing and for Disney dining/shows that second week too. There's a lot of fun to be had in some of the restaurants. But... be sure to reserve them ahead of time.

We have yet to go with the Holiday decorations up. I'm so jealous! Have a great trip.
