Hello,
I am taking my 2 daughters to Universal(8 & 10). We arrive on Saturday night and will be staying at Hard Rock. My plan is to spend all day Sunday and most of Monday at Universal/IOA and then leave early evening on Sunday to check into our hotel at WDW. So, I am wondering which park I should start with on Sunday. Thank you for any advice!

1. What are the hours for both parks on your days?
2. What are your must-dos?

For us, Universal Studios side had more to do (we could spend hours at Diagon and Knockturm Alleys alone). But, look over the rides and shows to see what you'd enjoy.

Take advantage of early admission both days. Do it at one park on Sunday and the other on Monday. It doesn't really matter which park you do which day.

I'm assuming it was a typo when you said you are leaving Sunday to check into your WDW hotel? I assume you meant Monday?

Yes, I meant Monday. Thank you!

My 9-year-old son loves the Universal-side Harry Potter better, but loves IOA more overall... Do you have park-to-park tickets?

Yes, we do. Maybe we will start with Universal on Sunday and do IOA on Monday. I am not sure if they will ride any of the thrill rides anyway;). Thanks!

Well, the good thing is, if you do everything at Universal you want on Sunday, you can hop on over to IOA and get a taste and then decide what to do on Monday. :)

IMO Diagon Alley takes a lot of time to walk through, there's a lot more to see and do! We tend to spend more time in Universal when we go, but we do love Hogsmeade, Spiderman & Jurassic park water ride over at IoA!
