We'll be making our 1st trip to California from the UK in August next year 12th-26th  .
Can anyone tell me how busy The Disneyland and California Adventure parks will be and the best days to visit? We'll have a Southern California pass which includes a 3 day hopper ticket.

TIA

From what I hear it wasn't too bad this year. Most likely because our economy is in the crapper! You may want to hurry and get over here as soon as possible before the £ loses more headway against the $. :thumbsup2

The best 3 days (of the week) would be Tue/Wed/Thurs. After that it would be M/T/W.

I recommend clicking on HydroGuy's sticky & Mary Jo's sticky (at the top of the DL page) for lots of info...especially for the DLR newbie (but WDW veteran).

Have a great time planning a visit to Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

I agree with Hound. These are the days I would visit if I had three days in August.

Here is a link to the DLR Guide Hound is talking about. It will answer lots of questions:

I have been in August a few times and if you are smart about it it can be very enjoyable. I am probably in the minority around here but summer is my favorite time to visit DLR. Here is a link to some summer visiting advice:

As far as what to expect weather wise, on average August is the warmest month. But it is not nearly as bad as visiting Orlando in the summer. Here is some weather history:

Have a great trip! :goodvibes
