1st trip what places should we try or avoid?

We are going to take my dd5 to see the RoyalT but for lunch. other than that where should we go and which places need reservations? We will probably eat in park once a day. we are staying 6nites Thanks for the help

I didnt see how old your kid/s are but I did notice that you're only 2 months away, so I would make some ADRs right away. My fam loves the Crystal Palace in MK, The Garden Grille in Epcot, and the Prime Time 50s Cafe in MGM. PT50s is table service, ala carte. The Garden Grille is served family style, all you care to eat. It is a charachter meal with Mickey & friends. The Crystal Palace is a character buffet with Pooh and friends

For quick, counter service meals, we like Cosmic Rays at the MK, Pizza Planet at MGM, the food court in FW at EpCOT, and Flame Tree, or Tusker House at AK (there is no TS in AK, only Rainforest at the entrance)


Make those ADRs asap

Since I don't know what your family likes or dislikes (and would not presume to tell you where to eat) the best thing to do is take a look at the menus and decide for yourself! You DO need to decide quickly and call and make your ADR's as soon as possible.

its my dbf dd5 and dd19 months. we like most everything kids are kinda picky but will try it once.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a great place for 1st timers. It is a character buffet with Mickey and friends, very festive and fun. You can take the monorail from the MK. I also like the 50's Prime Time Cafe and Sci Fi Dine In, both are at MGM. They are a lot of fun.

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are great for kids that age. Our DDs also enjoy the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot. For a non-character meal our family loves 'Ohana.

Le Cellier (Epcot, Canada) is a big favorite of most people on these boards, excellent steak, not to expensive. Like others have said 50's PT is just great.
Just be sure to call ASAP to make your ADR's, good luck!

For counter service resturants (no ADR needed) Earl of Sandwich (DTD), Pecos Bills (MK), and Caseys (MK) are our fav's.


PS - be sure to let us know if you have any luck getting ADR's, I as well as Im sure others can give you other resturants to try.

I just thought that I would second that Chef Mickey's is good. My kids loved the fact that they didn't have to just sit there and be quite. We can't wait to go back.
