1st trip to universal, need hotel help

We are headed to Orlando this March/April for the kids easter break. We will be at WDW DVC Beach Club Villas for 5 nights and then want to give Universal a try for the first time. Our family is 6 total, mom, dad, kids, 11, 8, 5 & 3. We want a Villas type hotel close to Universal. My folks are part of the Marriot Vacation Club so I'm going to check and see how that can help us.

I'd like to know what Marriott Vacation Club hotels (2 bedroom Villas) would be good for our family. We love great theming and all the extra room Villas bring. Was looking at Marriott Grand Vista. How about others? Don't need golf, need great pools, resteraunts and close to Universal. Will probably stay 4 nights then head over to the in-laws condo near Vero.

You might consider a couple of suites at the onsite hotels, there is a big perk with staying onsite, you have the front of the line passes with your room key/card, great perk, no lines at all with this.
