We just got back from 4 days at BVC -- our first trip as members. Thanks to DVC, we were able to host a mini reunion for my DH and his brothers. All of them were very dubious about Disney, but after eating at Cape May, walking on the Boardwalk, visiting the Animal Kingdom, and spending a day at Typhoon Lagoon, they found themselves delighted and happy. My I-hate-Disney DH was beaming the whole time. What a gift!

Our room (425) was comfortable and quiet, as well as being conveniently located near the elevators and laundry. We had a nice view of the "woods" behind BCV. Service was good, discounts were the best, and we are all ready to do it again.

The only "bad" part of the trip was an evening visit to MK -- terribly crowded, fastpasses all gone, long lines, etc. My daughter and I went back another day in the afternoon and had a better time of it. Live and learn.

A fun part of the trip was our last day, when we spent the morning riding bikes at VWL, ate lunch at Olivia's at OKW, and then ventured into Orlando to see the Morse Museum -- outstanding collection of Tiffany glass.

Looking forward to next March!

p.s. We flew Southwest instead of driving from NH or taking the train -- definitely a good experience this time around.

Thanks for sharing!!!!

Great report. Everytime I read these, I want to go right away. But alas, August will be here soon enough, and I will be able to jump into Storm-A-Long Bay! :Pinkbounc

Thank you for the nice report. It sounds like you had a great time.

We have just reserved our airline tickets for our first trip to BCV,

and can hardly wait to get there!

Always excited to hear a good trip report! Glad to hear you had a great time.

Thanks for the trip report. I want to stay at BCV someday. Sounds like you had a great trip.

To all the thank-you's -- you're welcome. I think the reason my family liked BCV so much is that it reminded them of previous summers in Maine -- my kids also love the pool.

My in-laws have traveled all over the world, and were very impressed by the Animal Kingdom. My brother-in-law said that among other things, all the plants were right in Asia. They loved the birds we saw at AK. On our visits to OKW and VWL, we also were very impressed with the theming. VWL looked just like the lodges we've seen in Yosemite and S. Dakota, only much bigger in scale. Disney has so many delightful details. I don't think we will ever get tired of DVC.
