Hi everyone

We have 45 days til our first trip home - April 29th

Is there anything else I need to do other than what I normally would for a "non-home" wdw visit.

I've got the room, got the ap's, and made "key" ps reservations.

What am I missing? if anything

Thanks all

Just work on hiding that smile that we all seem to get as we get closer to going home. Non-believers just won't understand.....;)

take some of those tablets for the laundry and some fabric softner

yes I know you are on vacation and don't want to do the laundry - but if you get a 1-bedroom and up - the washer and dryer are there -

if you get a studio - the washer and dryer are in the laundry room but they are free - when do you get to do something free at WDW.

you want to bring your own detergent and things - because WDW prices are very high.

I bring a bacon microwave pan - for a studio. a non-stick pan for a 1-bedroom and up.

If you are flying to Orlando what transportation arrangements have you made from MCO to WDW? A grocery stop on the way to the World is a good idea. If you use a towncar service you'll have to plan your shopping, you get about a 20-30 minute stop.

We were so pleased with the BCV that we just did an add-on for 100 points. It's proximty to Epcot, Boardwalk and MGM is a real plus. Plus SAB and Beaches and Cream being right there works out well. Have a great trip.

You will love BCV! We got back last weekend from our first stay "home". These were a couple of things I wish I would have brought with: a few of the Bounce sheets for dryer, some twist ties, a night light and a shower cap.

Enjoy your trip!

Our nightlight, a flashlight, and a LARGE-display digital alarm clock are always in our travel bag (the clock helps because no matter what type of room you have, somebody can't see the clock radio).;)

Thanks for all the input!!!

The laundry items I didn't even think about - good idea!!!! We're only staying 4 nights @ BCV before changing to AKL - I can pack half the clothes run a load of wash the day before we check out - which means more room in the suitcases for souvenirs - lol

Already have transportation lined up - going to use Tiffany like we did last year for our stay at AKL - had excellent service from them.

We're going to do a grocery stop on the way from the airport. We'll typically only have a couple breakfasts in the room so will only be picking up bottled water, cereal, milk etc - some fruit and maybe some frozen pizza or ??? for those late night snacks my husband is notorious for.

Hoping to get an illuminations view so I can hit the take out line at beaches&cream and have my ice cream on my balcony and watch the show.

Can't wait!!

Thanks everyone
