Our first trip ever to WDW!! My husband has to work 5 days at Wide World of Sports, so kids (son age 6 & daughter age 4), my sister and I tag along for the fun.

Today my sister watches the kids at AKL and I go to work with my husband. We have tickets for MNSSHP this evening so I want the kids to be well rested; I get them to take an almost 2hour nap when I get back from work.
This is the only day DH can go to the parks with us so Im hoping MNSSHP will be a hit. I choose it because 1) I was told admission was limited 2) tickets were cheaper than regular admission and 3) it sounded fun.
I think when they say admission is limited they mean there will be less people than a typical peak day because this party was crowded! It was also very dark and this made it difficult to keep track of the kids. A lot of it did scare my daughter but on our way out we stopped just before the parade was starting and ending it on a positive note. We got very good curb side seats near where the parade started and my daughter loved, loved, loved it. Shes still asking if we can go to another parade. Good, finally something she liked here.
Overall I wouldnt recommend it for parents with young children, especially if the kids are easily scared.
