Never been on HM? I love, love, love that ride! The song is always stuck in my head and I love when Disney puts me on hold and that's the music I hear. You're going to love it! I'm with Michael on being bummed about SM. One of my favorite rides ever. I'm sad I'm going to miss it this trip!

Cute clothes!! Your MK day sounds great. We found meeting Mickey in Toontown to be the easiest right at the TT rope drop. We only waited about 10 minutes, but the line can get very long later in the day!

Haunted Mansion is awesome!! I hope you enjoy your first ride on it, it is a classic!

I tried to get J to order a Lapu Lapu (just so I could have a tiny, itty-bitty, taste) but he said no thanks, ha! So you can order it and have a seat while waiting. Kona looked really good, so we may try that next time.

Your poor DH about the Space Mountain ride~!! I could do without EVER riding it again! ( I am a BIG chicken!) I was just screaming the entire time "get me off this ride!!" The guy in front of me got mad at me when I got off and said I needed to not yell so loud! My DH will totally want to check out the new one, though...so I guess I am forced!! Do you like it?

Thanks! And thanks for the advice about meeting Mickey. When I went in 06, there wasn't a line at all...but I knew that wouldn't be the norm. We'll probably plan on trying to go at TT rope drop then. Do you know how the line would be during Wishes? YAY!! I can't wait to ride HM!

I know!! We're in the mid-20s now!!! I can't believe you're already back! Thanks Good to know--I'll be looking for the Poly Bar. I hope it's not too strong. I'm not usually one who enjoys alcohol if it's strong. Hopefully I'll taste the pineapple more than the alcohol. I'll let you know how it is!

Thanks It doesn't get stuck in my head either...Michael rolled his eyes when I told him I wanted to ride it though CoP isn't one of my favorites...I'm pretty sure we'll skip it. I'm really, really excited for HM!

I just found out today (I know...where have I been?!) that they've extended the date for the Wishes Dessert Party. Michael and I saw this and wished that we could attend, but it was before it was going on during our trip. Well...now it is!

I would REALLY like to be able to do this! The question is: do we go on Monday (our Spectro and Wishes night) or Wednesday (our MK day and we were planning on riding things during Wishes)???

I would love to have a good view of the castle for Wishes (so it'd be better to do the dessert party on Wed), but I'd also like to be able to ride things during Wishes (so it'd be better to do the dessert party on Mon). I just don't know!!!

But I have to make up my mind soon so we can see if they even have spots still available. I called earlier and the dining system is down...so I have a little time, but not much!

PLEASE ADVISE!!!

From all the reviews I have read you can still see Spectro from the location and the view of Wishes is amazing...plus all those desserts!!! Well....

Nevermind about what night we should go to the Wishes Dessert Party.


Michael and I decided that it'd be a fun, special thing to do, and we'd want to go on Monday night. We have a 4:00 dinner ressie at Coral Reef, and then we'll be in Magic Kingdom for the evening. We also decided that the no-crowds and dessert would trump the pictures we would get if we watched Spectro close up and were in front of the castle for Wishes.

I called Disney Dining during lunch (and got the Main St. USA song in my head ). I didn't catch the CM's name, but she was very, very friendly. She took all of my information and then tried to book the party for us for Monday night (the 21st).

All full.

Ok. That's fine. I have a back-up. How about Wednesday?

She asked if there was another night we'd like to look at, but there really wasn't. This was the only night that would really work for us. Oh well...that's one way to make a decision


Even though we can't go to the dessert party, we're still SUPER excited for our trip and it'll be good to be up close to Spectro and see Wishes from the front.

I mean, come on. We're going to be at Disney World!
