We just retured from our first trip to the BWV as owners and had a great time. So, I thought I'd share some thoughts, comments, etc...
Our room was great - a 2BR, room 4077 (the M*A*S*H* unit) and 4079. It seemed actually larger than I thought it would be - we actually never toured a villa as we bought a resale and bought into DVC on Disney's reputation and after numerous stays at moderate and deluxe hotels. I appreciated the tips on this board as to room location, as the room was close to the elevators, and that helped with the little kids. The room is a standard, and we overlooked the entrance, but had absolutely NO problem with the view. As for the room condition, it was in fine shape, as far as I'm concerned, except for the fridge which needed a good shove to keep the door closed (and the light kept flickering, I guess b/c the door never like to stay shut!)
We were slightly disappointed upon check-in b/c the room key machine wasn't working. The CM also didn't help by stating "the machines were down, many people called out sick, and it's been a crazy day" so basically don't bother checking back in until 4! I know that the time to check in, but we were hoping to get in earlier as the kids were quite antsy after the flight, etc.. By 3:30, our room was ready, but we were only issued a "temporary key" which meant we couldn't charge things to our room. The next night, "real" keys were under our door.
I've got more thoughts, and will try to add them another time, as well as post reviews for the 2 character breakfasts we attended.
Looking forward to our next trip "home"!
