We have never been to disney and have decided to take the cruise then visit the park after for a couple days I am starting to get a little nervous about the holloween party. Just wondering if the park is really crowded during the day on Oct. 28th and 29th? Since we are driving back home (OH) we will only have a day and 1/2 to spend at the park. also was wondering if we have to buy additional tickets for the holloween party? I am starting to find out our travel agent is not very good she never mentioned the hudge halloween bash. I appreciate any help/advise you disney pros can give me. Thanks:wave2:

Hi Diana,
I've never been to WDW in October, but I just wanted to Welcome you to the Dis! Have a great vacation!:sunny:

We went to the Halloween Party 3 yrs ago and I was quite suprised at the lack of crowds. We were there on Oct 31st. We did need a separate ticket to get in.

WELCOME Diana!!!

The crowds during the end of October were wonderful last year. We never really needed Fast passes as the waits were generally 5-15 minutes. Even for some of the major attractions!!! If you want to do MNSSHP (which is well worth it), you will need a separate admission ticket.

october is a great time to go to disney world. the temperature is great probably in the 70's and the crowds are minimal. Have a great time.

I went to the Halloween Party a few years ago on a friday night and it was mobbed. I could not get on any rides because the lines were too long (40 min. wait or more). Idid not want to waste time waiting in line. I just walked around but was still able to have a great time anyway. You will have to buy tickets beforehand. I would call Disney directly ASAP and order them for the night you want especually since you do not have too many nights to choose from. I would also (if possible for you), make a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern for that night before the park re opens for the party. You will be able to get in as long as you have a PS. The Hallowen Party is definately worth going to.Good Luck!
