Hi! we will be staying at the cabins the last week of August... I have already requested the 2100 loop and have reserved a golf cart (thanks to you guys!:thumbsup2 ) is there anything else I may need to do / bring that would differ from our previous stays at other WDW hotels? I'm thinking bug spray maybe? Also, is there anything I can bring to make our golf cart stand out a bit from the others? I was thinking of a decal or magnet for the hood? Last question (for now!) how many can the golf cart comfortably sit?
Thanks in advance-
:)

Golf carts fit 4 comfortably however you could squeeze more in a pinch. Last trip we had two small ones that sat on laps.
Magnets won't stick to carts since they are fiberglass. I would ensure that you remember the number. Maybe bring a ribbon or a flag you could tape to one of the uprights if you are really worried you'll not remember which one is yours.:confused3
I agree with the bug spray comment. I was being too lazy to get it out one night and my ankles got attacked.
Don't forget towels. Hmm, do they have towels in the cabins? I don't know. I'm sure someone else can answer that.
Have fun!!

Bring flashlights they are great to have there at night and buy the glo sticks at your local party store. I also bring the mosquito coil things to put out on the deck if you want to sit out at night.

In reply to the post above, they do have towels at the cabins (well, they did in 2003 anyway).

When we stayed in the cabins on our trip, it was after spending a few days at a resort and having Disney bell services send our stuff over. Seemed real convenient, but one down side was that we did not get to make a trip for groceries. We had a few meals of things that could be purchased at the Trading Posts, but would love to have had a good "home cooked" kind of meal with items not stocked in the Fort. Lots of good crock pot recipes on these boards that would be real convenient to have ready when returning from the parks.
