In the past 4 years we have been to WDW 4 times and are planning a 2 week trip in Nov. We will be staying at the Poly the entire time, but would like to take a couple of days out for Universal/IOA. I'm thinking about the Sunday and Monday 11/21 and 11/22 the week of Thanksgiving-how will the crowds be on these days? We are not staying onsite at Universal, is there a way to purchase fotl passes? Also what will be our best option for getting there from the Poly if we do not rent a car?

I'm really excited about going to Universal, I feel like I know Disney so well-and this is new experience!!

I was surprised how uncrowded it was during Thanksgiving week this year. I can't say that it will be that way for next Thanksgiving though.

It was very crowded though on the Friday and Saturday (the days after Thanksgiving)

There are express plus passes available, which can cost anywhere from $15/person-$30/person. These allow you one express access per attraction in whichever park you bought the express for, and only on the date marked on the ticket.

You may want to consider staying on site for 1 to 2 nights. The resorts are wonderful and really add to your whole Universal experience.

Have fun!
