Okay, only been to WDW once before and we stayed at POP. Decided to give the cabins a try. :) We'll be with our DS (3) and DD (1), my mother and my sister. And there is me and my DH. :)

Tell me everything you can about the grounds, cabin, transportation, etc. PLEASE! I'm a planner and I don't know ANYTHING about FW. :rolleyes1

Do you suggest we get a golf cart? How spread out is everything? Long walk to the bus stops? I saw where they have horses. Do you have to pay to ride?

Do they have activities for kids to do at night and/or during the day? How long does it take to get to the different parks?

Any and all info is appreciated! :wizard:

Welcome! Give the FAQ's thread in the sticky section a look. A number of your questions have already been answered there.

You will all love staying in a cabin. :thumbsup2 Great way to relax in addition to visiting the parks.

The horse rides are free, but they charge you $46 to get off. :rotfl2:

But seriously, the Fort is awesome! And if your 3 year old wants to ride the ponies, those rides are only $5. You control the pony, and it's a lot of fun. I think you have to be at least 2 (no older than 8) to ride ponies...and at least 9 to ride the horses.

WELCOME to the camping boards:banana:
Your gonna love fish'n,,er, uh, I mean stay'n at the Fort, :thumbsup2
Just nose around these threads and you'll find a world of info.,,
then ask away for the stuff you cant find a answer to, :wizard:
