We just returned from our first ever trip to WDW. WOW! How exciting it was. I learned a few things on this board and want to encourage first timers to read, read, read!! I wanted to share what some of my fav $ saving tips were.

The biggie--buy the double cheeseburger and ask for an extra bun. Esp. at the Cosmic something in Tomorrowland at MK. They have a great topping bar. I was charged $.79 for the extra bun I think.
I didnt read this on here, but there are MANY suvinier stores esp on I-Drive. You can get cute cheap tee shirts in those, cheap autograph book, etc. Also at Walgreens--they had a good selection of t's and other stuff. All of the 'stuff" at WDW is so cute but it is so expensive. Look around, there is lots outside of the parks.

Great bun tip! Gotta try that next time (in 16 days!).
We also just get icewater, they don't charge for that!

I always forget about the extra bun.My dd and I split meals usually and this would work outgreat.

herc.
